A day trip by train-to-bike from NY Penn Station to Asbury Park ending in Manasquan. There aren't many restaurants in Manasquan, fewer that don't serve old fashioned spaghetti, and fewer still that are open on Sunday. By elimination at the end of my ride I ended up at The Committed Pig. It's a casual beach restaurant that had delicious food... More

Red velvet pancakes were amazing and they had good coffee. Would certainly go back for breakfast and also try lunch

Thanks to Yelp we were able to find this restaurant during our visit for a friends wedding at The Breakers. The place runs extremely slow, I would recommend sending up someone to add your name to the wait list and they text you when the table is ready. It's a super trendy spot with unique menu options. The staff was... More

Down home cooking with a twist. I love the salads they are big enough to split. It is a blob but their lemonade is to die for. Mac and cheese to burgers. I've never had a bad meal

We had to wait to get a seat on a Sunday at around 1 PM. The place is small and very noisy. We were seated about 3 inches from tables on either side of us and there was absolutely no privacy. I liked that our coffee came in a personal thermos but when you unscrewed the top it dripped all... More

The Pig is a wonderful little restaurant. The Challah French Toast here is perfect. It comes with a side of bacon which is always crispy and delicious. Not only does the pig have a great breakfast/brunch menu, but their burgers are some of the best around. I order The General which is essentially just a cheeseburger, but the burger here... More

Two orders of pancakes, bacon and coffee for $31.50....... really? You'd think a place called The Committed Pig would have a higher quality bacon. I've never had bacon that was 90% fat and tasteless before. Three - 5” Pancakes were very average.

I absolutely love Committed Pig. Each time I go the food is delicious, the wait is short and I leave feeling like I had one of the best breakfasts of my life. I typically always order a pork roll sandwich. The buns are nice and toasty, the cheese is extra melted and gooey. Plus, the little mugs of coffee are... More

This was my first visit to the committed pig. What a pleasant surprise. They have a menu that's different from the norm and is full of nice dishes. Had the steel herder burger which was really good. Others at my table had the grilled peanut butter and jam which was also good and the fish and chips was also a... More
