Great view nice bar

Stopped by for a few cocktails for the first time. The interior was nicely decorated and staff seemed friendly. Did not have time to eat this time but would like to return for dinner soon.

It has been a long few months.. My husband and I decided to take a drive down the shore.. We stopped in Long Branch for lunch at McLoone's .. We have dined here several times and it has always been great! This trip was no exception! We were delighted to see that the outdoor dining was open. It was a... More

Me and my husband had lunch here it was pretty good. He had tuna sandwich and I had a vegetable wrap. Both were good and came with pickles and cole slaw. My only thought was for the price we should've also had fries or chips with it and not been asked if we wanted to have them substituted for extra... More

We were pretty late for dinner and most of the places in the Pier Village were closed. But these kind folks still let us in and served us dinner. We had a Pasta with and Attitude with clam, Calamari, Edemame, and Pesto Risotto with Chicken stuffed with shrimp. Everything was great.

Service is iffy. Food is not the best. At all And very overpriced for the quality. Pier village has a lot of better options for dining than here. If it wasn't for location This mcloones wouldn't last

I live 10 minutes from most of McCloone's restaurants, he has great location in all of his restaurants. Unfortunately, for the past 20 years, he has yet to find a good chef. Too many other good restaurants in the area to waste money at any of McCloone restaurants.

Good things: the food is well-prepared, with innovative touches. Particularly enjoyed the beet salad and "vegan" risotto (though I'm not vegan). Desserts have improved - all made in-house. Nice Linzer Torte. The view of the ocean is pleasant - try for a table at a window. Middling things: from the $15 burger on up, prices are high. Split an appy... More

Thought I was embarking on a nice seafood dinner. Sat at the bar (only one other person was at the bar). Bartender bragged how busy it was during the summer, but was slow to attend at best. Ordered oysters and shrimp cocktail to start. Oysters were dry - no oyster liquor and two of them were bad! The shrimp were... More

I loved the mcloone's on Sea Bright and was devastated to lose it. I like the one on Long Branch but miss the quieter atmosphere of the other. The food is equally great, service excellent, but especially in the summer it gets quite loud in there when live bands are playing. I love the views, equally beautiful in summer and... More
