The salad was not impressive, but the squid in lemon grass and coconut curry sauce and the beef in lemon grass and chili sauce were both full of flavor. The restaurant is very clean and the service is prompt. I recommend it and we will be back soon to try something else.

The roti kanai, tofu basil and kari sayur was really good. The vegetarian spring rolls were quite bad but most of our food was excellent.

Yes, we tried another restaurant in this part of the world. The interiors was good and had not expected such an atmosphere inside. We were seated in the room after the bar. The service and the staff were good and recommended good veg fare. The roti canai was superb,a very good change from the Indian version. but the other platters was... More

We went off to Penang's for a mid-week dinner and found the restaurant busy and the parking lot almost completely full. We were greeted quickly and seated in the room off the bar and started to look over the extensive menu. We were using a Groupon which allowed an appetizer, two entries and two glasses of wine. The appetizer we... More

We went as a family with 2 children in tow. My wife and I with our son. The restaurant is superb with excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. A taste bud explosion with the perfectly cooked food and flavors. From starters to desert all was tasty and fresh. The price including sodas was only just over $100,00 which I found... More

In my previous review of this restaurant I erroneously referred to my favorite dish there as "firecracker" pork chop. That was an error. I was there for lunch 2 days ago and the correct name of this dish is "volcano" pork chop. Sorry for the error. Everything was the same, which is to say delicious, with very good service. Give... I love Thai food, so finding this place close to my hotel in January was perfect. The food was probably the most amazing Thai I've had anywhere on the east coast in the past six months. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. I was very surprised at how much food I got for the... More

We tried Penang on a recommendation of a friend. It had nice atmosphere and was more spacious than it appeared from the oputside. The food was very good and I anxious to try the sushi bar.Prices are a little high but the food is good.

They deliver to Clifton, one star for that. The food is tasty and generous portions. I am a fan of thai and it is very hard to find good thai places outside of NYC or DE. I cannot say this is the best but for what they offer it is good. A bit pricey but if I am in the... More
