The food is good and the service is attentive. The restaurant has not been crowded during our visits so it does not get loud like some other steak houses. It is decorated in the old steakhouse vein, that is, red brocade walls and dark woods.

This place has the feel of an old school NYC steakhouse tucked away on route 10 in Livingston. While the formula is tried and true, the execution has to be flawless at these prices- and they've yet to miss the mark during my half dozen visits. Veggies are perfectly prepared and served. Seafood apps are flavorful and abundant. Then there... More

My wife and I went to the Strip House for our anniversary. The food was excellent and it had a nice atmosphere. We found it to be a little pricey but didn't mind since it was a special occasion. Our steaks were delicious and our dessert was yummy!

Food is delicious...always. Their fish (tuna, in particular) is outstanding. Love their salads and desserts. Wait staff is courteous and non-intrusive.

It's a dimly lit place when you first enter. It is a hotel restaurant and appeared as if you were in a Starbucks restaurant with many patrons on their laptops. These people were a distraction and should be dining at the bar. The appetizers were good. I had a crisp iceberg lettuce that was filling. Others had shrimp cocktails and... More

We dined on four consecutive nights while staying in the hotel. This is a traditional New York style steak house. It is comfortable, darkly lit, and is reminiscent of a movie set version of a french bordello (I happen to like this). Our first night was a disaster in that we enjoy our beef very rare. Unfortunately, this restaurant leaves... More

As other reviewers have noted, the food quality may be variable but their steaks are good. We came for dinner one evening and my wife was not that hungry so she ordered two appetizers. The Lobster Bisque was a little thin and did not have much lobster meat but she enjoyed it nevertheless. She also got Oysters Rockefeller which she... More

My husband and I dined at the Strip House in July. We had never been there before. We were treated with courtesy. Our waiter was very professional. We liked the food very much. My caveat...they need to decide on the 'character' of the restaurant. What overall dining experience do they want to provide? Because (I think) this restaurant is the... More

I had dinner at The Strip House a few weeks ago. After being seated,we waited at least twenty minutes and still nobody came to take our order. I saw a man in a suit who seemed to work there,I told him how long we were waiting and he got a waiter to take our order. During the entire meal, the food took... More

For our wedding night we were told that the bar would be open late night for our guests to have an after party after our wedding and that it would stay open even later than usual because there were two weddings stayin there. Then halfway through our wedding my husband got wind that the bar was actually closing early because... More
