Very expensive drinks, nice ambience

Had drinks in the bar area with co-workers. A very small margarita or martini was $17. I think that's expensive. Ambience is very nice though and there are nice red couches to relax on.

You want a sexy, romantic steak place with excellent service for a date? This is the place. It's inside the Wilshire Grand Hotel. There's something very sexy about this place. Every steak we've tried in there is delicious. This time I had the filet mignon and got the larger size which was a mistake. You fill up on bread and... More

Went to Strip House in Livingston NJ for Christmas dinner. It was very disappointing this time after having good experiences on 3 previous occasions. Starting with the good. We were greeted warmly and given good attention throughout the dinner by the 2 managers. The ambiance of the restaurant was, as always, quite nice. But, this time, the service was downright... More

Steak was overcooked and not juicy. Swordfish was very good but a very small portion. Spinach was average. French fries were just okay. Rolls were really good. $12 for the least expensive glass of wine was too much. Waiter never offered a refill for our $7.50 bottle of sparkling water (which was removed from the bill when I complained. Ambiance... More

The Strip House had solid food, a limited selection and a high price tag. Everything I ordered tasted great, just felt overpriced. The best thing that I had was the house burger. It was beefy. It was good. It wasn't ridiculously expensive. I’d go with that. All of the other meals that I saw looked good, just do not know... More

This is tough (not the streak, though). We ate here twice. The first time I had a burger , which was fine. My wife had a couple of appetizers (iceberg and stilton salad and mac and cheese), also very good. A glass of merlot was good as well, though a bit pricey. The next night we hosted a couple of... I have eat here many times when i stay at the Westminster hotel. Its over priced for what it is & the options are limited, i have had to send back bad cuts steak & burnt fish & cold food. The bar is good, but it use to be better untell they let go teh good bartenders. Overall they should... More

Food is fresh, but nothing spectacular. Seafood appetizer was the best part. Salad pretty bland. Tuna ok, nothing special. Service was attentive. I personally do not like the decor at all, reminding of prohibition era establishment with velvety dark red walls, but some in my party did like it.

No small food option for Sat/Sun breakfast other than the buffet. Would have been good to have some juice or fruit only available.
