Good food, slow service

The food was absolutely delicious, however it took a long long time for it to arrive. We were sitting at our table for about a half hour before we even saw a food menu. Even drinks took about 20 to arrive.

We have two small children, so we were very excited about the possibility of a night out at a fine steakhouse. Instead, we had terrible service and worse food, all at outrageous prices. Our server was inattentive and made excuses for everything. The food was a weak imitation of fine dining. The $50 porterhouse entree was small and over-seasoned. The... More

I had high expectations for this Steak House. The restaurant was very pretty and it looked great with the snow falling outside the window. But the steak really disappointed us! It was the Rib Eye special for two at $102.00 it was tough and kind of bland. The presentation was really nice though. They craved it table side. The sides... More

Title says it all. Awkward entrance with maitre d' deliberating where to seat us. Wife's cosmo at the bar tasted like cough syrup then two separate people asked what type of water we'd like once seated. Get the feeling for how the night started? Food was bland -steaks and even the famous chocolate cake. Can't see returning unless the memories... More

I came here back in October for a business dinner and it's definitely a nice place overall, but I'm not sure I'd come here for a regular dinner. The service was overall very good and the waitstaff were very attentive. The food was tasty and the filet mignon was cooked fairly well (it was a bit bland, but the sauce... More

A really good steak house and bar with a great staff and good service. Not cheap, but, not NYC steakhouse prices either. Very fine beef cooked as you ask, a nice wine list and good sides (creamed spinach is as good as Morton's).

I had heard great things about this steakhouse in this hotel on Rt 10. I was very disappointed in the food, especially with the price of everything. If you are paying NYC steakhouse in NJ suburbia the food should be great. They take advantage because there isn't a lot of similar restaurants around. It wasn't worth it at all.

Best food in Livingston. Ambience is lovely. Can't go wrong here. From steaks to truffle mac and cheese. This place does not disappoint.

Absolutely awful. Given the paucity of good steakhouses in N NJ, we have relied on Strip House often, despite marginal service and food. After last night however, we will not return. Portions are invariably meager and exorbitant, and the quality mediocre. $15 for a wedge salad with 1/16 of a head of lettuce started the debacle (and I should add... More
