Nice pub, solid food

Ate here several times during my weeklong stay. Food was good as was the service. Its a place where many locals come to watch the games, but the staff were very considerate and they remembered me on my second visit. Not fancy but good burger/sandwich fare. Train stop is practically across the... read more

This is an old bar that's trying to revitalize itself by trying to sell Craft Beer & Pizza..... Beer that they no nothing about, or how to sell or market. Who is going to venture into Linden to drink Craft Beer in this place? Have you seen Linden? I've been involved with Craft Beer since the late 80's and have... More

Up until recently, we've been coming here for years. In the past, the burgers were great and made just the way you asked for them. The rest of the menu items were also quite good. Beer selection was somewhat limited but, not being that big a beer drinker, I enjoyed their tap birch beer. So, when the men's group from... More

Hi ROY,Sorry your experience at the taphouse wasn't up to your standards.First,There isn't any New Owner,I have been there for a total of Thirtyfive years,Twenty Three as the owner. So you have been coming here for years, and because you didn't get free samples of beer,,,there must be a new owner and the food went completely downhill,or so your write-up would indicate...Roy,we... Look carefully at your bill after you eat! I always tip minimun 20% ,if not more! I personally know the owner, John. We were neighbors and grew up together. Ive been going there for many years, even when Johns stepfather owned the bar! Joe Gulino.RIP! Two years ago i went there for pizza and a beer, had to leave early... More

This is an old man dive bar that's trying to reinvent itself by jumping on the Craft Beer bandwagon. The blue collar clientele don't drink craft beer, and it's in an area that I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing a wife or girlfriend to. The beer doesn't move, so it's stale and the particles in the beer tell me the lines... More

Linwood is known for its burgers, but a piping hot pizza may just change your mind about where to get pizza in Linden! This is a place where families can feel comfortable because the bar is separated from the dining area. I have yet to have a bad menu item and their burgers really are fantastic. For me, it a... We recently had a 9hr layover in Newark while traveling to Boston. A friend of ours living in Haddonfield came down and we went out to lunch. She picked us up and we went in to Linden and stopped at the Linwood Taphouse as recommended by our friends father. We ordered the Cajun chicken egg rolls and the rustica pizza... More

My go to place in Linden, good good food. Great service. Burgers are just great. Never had a problem with service or food.

I work in a bar (not in the same area) and feel somewhat qualified to review this place. It is quite simply terrible. The bar is old fashioned, extremely overpriced for the area and the service from the majority of the bartenders is slow and very unfriendly. One blonde haired bartender in particular is awful. She has a constant scowl... More

If you are looking for a great place to have a drink and something to eat, the Linwood is your place. Now going by the name the Linwood Station Stop, it is the same great food as always. Plenty of Beers on Tap and by Bottle to try. The menu for food is appealing to all. There is something for... More
