Tiny But Packed With Flavor

Tucked in amongst a string of retail shops and restaurants on Lawrenceville's main street, you could easily miss Acacia's nondescript entrance. Don't let that happen. Once inside you are directly in a light filled dining room with a casual air and minimal fussiness. Tables are of various size and... read more

A gourmet experience that was perfectly executed. Acacia is quickly becoming one of my favorite places.

My fiancee and I dined here to give the place anther chance...I don't know about all the time, but everything was too salty...from the clams (too salty) to the pork porterhouse (too salty)...the homemade ice cream was great! Service was excellent! atmosphere comfortable, but the food is average despite fancy labels....

My wife and I have passed by Acacia any number of times on our way to Princeton. We finally decided to stop in and are so glad we did. The food, service and atmosphere was exceptional. You can bet this will be on our short list of great places to go for dinner in the future..for sure! EH and FEH

We have dined at Acacia for probably 20 years now. Over the years it has changed hands and we will admit that we stopped going there for a period of time. But we recently took a look at the website/menu and realized that a new chef/owner was in place and wanted to give it a try. We dined there last... More

I had given a great review after the first time we had great experience with food and service. Since then, we had dinner many time and always enjoyed the great food; the service was always medium to slow when the restaurant becomes full, since usually you never see more than 2 waitresses. Last night's experience was awful. We were a... More

The meal was wonderful! The service was very good. I really enjoyed all of the appetizers especially the octopus! Dessert- you must try the peanut butter chocolate mousse with sea salt caramel ice cream- OMG! Most importantly we were not rushed through our meal even though it was a special day.

What a wonderful experience at ACACIA! From the moment we walked in and sat down to when we left could not have had a better time. Our waitress Terry was honest when asked about the food and helped us make our delicious choices! The fact that it is a BYOB makes it that much better. Was able to enjoy and... More
