So what got me in the door of this interesting place was a gift certificate from a local blood donation center. I decided to stop here on the way home and not being sure where it was, recall the building Capt. Paul's is in from the 70's when I was in HS up the street. I never expected to have... read more

And we have visited Paul's many times over the years. It has been a pleasure getting to know Paul and his family who always greets us with tremendous hospitality. As for the food the hotdogs are outstanding. However typically my family goes for the water rice and the ice cream which is simply outstanding. He has the best mi t... More

Captain Paul's is always helping out local organizations. Great hotdogs and the soft ice cream is the best. Take your family for ice cream. You can't bet their prices.

I don't usually eat hot dogs but went here with family at their suggestion. Pretty neat! I loved how the menu items are named for everyday heroes like firemen, military, etc.! Every one has a unique spin and interesting flavor combination, too! The service was friendly and the food was pretty good...I would've liked a little larger portion but what... More

My husband and I tried 4 of their hot dogs. They were delicious! I would recommend The Grunt dog! The sauce on it is great, not that spicy, but great flavor! We will be back!

Oh Captain ..oh Captain these special Dogs are a treat. The chilli covered ones are perfection and it is obvious that this owner (former Trenton NJ fireman) knows how to cook them just right.. The place is always busy. My grand children love this placate.

I like this place. Hot dogs, shakes and ice cream: a great combination! It's fun, it's festive, and the outdoor seating is nice when the weather permits. This place makes me feel like a kid again. The unusual thing is that the decor is filled with memorabilia of firemen and firefighters, so if you are a fireman you will love... More

Friendly service at the small counter inside, lots of picnic tables for whenever the weather permits. Every topping imaginable is available. My favorite is the 3-alarm chili dog. You're sure to find a hot dog you can love here.

Captain Paul's hot dogs are the best ever and there are so many to choose from! The owner is super friendly. One night I was in the mood for one of his hot dogs and called to see whether he was still open. He was about to close but said he'd keep it open until I arrived. Who else would... More
