My husband and I recently visited Joe's Crab Shack on Rt. 1 to celebrate an event (just the two of us). We were a bit off-put by the amount of cars in the parking lot, but were seated right away. Our waiter, Dan, was polite and served us in a reasonable amount of time. My husband ordered the Cajun steam... More

After my daughter's college graduation, we took a small group of 20 to this restaurant. Very comfortable atmosphere, the food was very good. Staff was polite and very accommodating and took care of all our requests. They were busy that day as they are near Rider College, but drinks and food were flowing with no extended waits. Reserved a table... More

This restaurant has some of the BEST crab I've ever had. They have a few varities of crab on the menu, in addition to shrimp, lobster, burgers, fries, etc. They have all the seafood you could want with a little bit of american cuisine mixed in. It's a super laid back atmosphere with wooden tables and buckets for your crab... More

This is a large, very informal place with wooden tables and tin buckets on the table for shells and such. There is a bar section Three of us ate for $132.00. This included one appetizer ($10), 2 iced teas ($4.58), 1 beer ($5.00), 2 small slices of garlic bread ($1.49) and three entrees. We all ordered the large meals, two... More

This was my first time ever eating at a Joe's. I suppose it is not for me. I took my mom. Our potatoes were a little hard. For the two of us our bill was almost $6, but we didn't get much food and only got two soft drinks . The worst part is that the server was rude, didn't... More

My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday and the best part of the evening was the funny things they wrote on the lobster bibs. The food was cold but tasty and service was very slow but we tried to have a good time despite this. The room was very open - looked like a cafeteria and sounded like... More

I'll preface this by admit that we were at Joe's during a heavy period, on a Friday evening during Lent. Delays, we expected, but this place was the gang that couldn't shoot straight. A senior in our party submitted our names as we walked into a very crowded lobby. The attendant immediately asked for his phone number, which he quickly... More

Food was average, we were with 3 people had different dishes and share them to get an idea what the food was nothing was exiting but not bad either just average. The service was so so, we had a few times to asked for various things. Not attentive at all.
