The creamy chipotle pollo was amazing! The service was incredible as well. We will definitely return!
We stumbled across this restaurant probably 4 years ago. It is a favorite place for us and the kids whenever we want authentic Mexican food.
My wife and I visit Lambertville many times throughout the year with lunch always part of our day. On our last visit we were trying to figure out where to eat this time. My wife remembered reading a review in the NY Times about a Mexican restaurant in Lambertville and maybe we should try that. After a quick google we... More
I am a California transplant, stranded in alternating frigid/humid NJ. I first discovered tortugas probably 6 or more years ago, which is sad as I live in Lambertville... It is kind of the funky bohemian place I loved in CA. It is crammed tight almost all the time. The food is standard, but tasty, which is what I like. the... More
My husband and I had lunch at Tortuga's which is a small restaurant off the beaten path in beautiful Lambertville--a small town on the Delaware. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint--you might want to make reservations as seating is limited. The chips and salsa which are free are very good and the combination lunch platter of a beef burrito, chicken... More
Hidden Treasure located down an alley in Lambertville, NJ. The chef made a HOT meal which was supposed to be mild which set our mouth on fire. However, I sampled all the dishes and have to say the food was good. Despite the mixup, I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was worth the trip.
The food at Tortuga's is excellent! However, if you are expecting to sit at the bar while waiting for a table, prepare to have your table ready before your drink. We waited 25 minutes to get a drink!! I now know for next time to be prepared to wait. I don't blame Tortuga's for this since it is a different... More

Kitchen. accommodates as I substituted chorizo for cheese. Spouse had baked fish very good large portions. Downside was Bar. Odd arrangement as adjacent Irish Bar owns building and leases restaurant space. Your drink order comes from... More
Love this place! Always great food and service. The staff is friendly. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.
We were craving Mexican and thought what better then to go to New Hope and have dinner in Lambertville a few blocks away. The place could use a make over, the service is prompt and the food Is very good and reasonable. The outdoor seating adds to the place. We have been here twice and I certainly will come back.... More
