We ate at Rick's for the first time klast night, having heard and read good reports. What a disappointment! Food was Ok but nothing special at all, and it was so noisy we literally couldn't hear each other across the table. Part of this was due to acoustics, but there was oen table of screamers who just wouldn't let up.... More

While staying across the river in New Hope, my friend and I were looking for a restaurant with Italian fare, but not the usual pizza place that serves everything. After some research, I finally found Rick’s and I am glad I did! While I could not reach them on the phone, I did take the short drive across the river... More

This is a small neighborhood restaurant with simple decor and an Italian menu. Entrees are priced in the mid 20s. The wait to be seated can be lengthy, in part because the restaurant may sometimes be understaffed or the staff may be inattentive. Our party waited a good ten minutes even though the table had been set for awhile. When... More

Get there early, it's a very small place and quickly gets crowded and the service then slows down. Not good for more than 4 people in a party. BYOB. Salads and red or white mussels are very good. I love the scallops over mashed potatoes and the seafood medley over pasta is terrific. My wife and I have had many... More

Great food and fun crowded atmosphere. The butternut squash ravioli with brown butter sage sauce is amazing. Also brussel sprouts. BYOB

We went there last weekend for dinner for 4 with friends last weekend at 8pm Saturday night. We had great time and food was spot on - very tasty. I had lobster fra diavlo - it might have been a special or off menu. My wife had chicken parmigiana. My friends wife had seafood medley and he had salmon. All... More

My wife and I had dinner at Rick's this past Saturday night. We live in area and have been there couple times a year. She had chicken parmigiana and I had fish. Service was good, atmosphere great and tartufo dessert spot on. Entrees were hot but devoid of any flavor or taste. Like it was cooked without spices or salt.... More

Rick's is a run-of-the-mill red sauce Italian restaurant with not a shred of imagination. Food preparation was fine, service was warm and the wood paneling made me nostalgic for my family's 1950s living room, but unless predictable is at the top of one's list in choosing a restaurant I'd skip it.

Being new to area tried this restaurant - tiny interior very crowded tables. Busy and understaffed. I ordered the eggplant parm which was pretty good but not the best- when our bill came the price on bill was higher than advertised price which I addressed, she was very defensive that the marker board was in error. I pointed out that... More

Rick's has been around a long time and has gone through several owners. Nothing decor wise has changed since the 1950's but the once excellent high quality food is a distant memory. What we have now is average southern Italian fare with ridicules prices. Nothing exciting, nothing special and a Chef who takes few chances. That wouldn't bother me except... More
