Tiny Italian gem

Rick's is off the beaten path in Lambertville, NJ. It is a small Italian restaurant a couple of blocks off Bridge Street. It is very small - 8 tables in the main room, which is rustic with wood paneling. The food is the draw. They have excellent Italian dishes. The seafood is worth having. Pasta... read more

We visited on a Monday night- plenty of metered parking and a lot close by. BYOB. Seems like a lot of local people. We had a Caesar salad, pizza and seafood over linguine. Board specials. Great bread, attentive service. Row house vibe, like sitting in Mama's dining room. Highly recommended

This is a little whole in the wall diner on Main St. It is very local and no frills, but the waitresses were nice and the egg and bacon sandwich on ciabatta bread was very good and was all I needed to start my day. The coffe was pretty good too.

Okay, Adam and I just got back from Rick's in Lambertville. I. Pro's- a.The food was good! b. the red sauce was really amazing! c.Portabella mushroom parmesan was delicious! Even Adam, who hates mushrooms loved it. I accidentally thought it was the Eggplant, so I did innocently give it to him. d.It's on a quiet side street so no massively... More

We have heard about Rick's for years, and finally had the chance to go. We were seated right away at this small BYOB restaurant. The menu addition on the board were tempting. We started with salad - a Caesar and mixed field greens. they were very nice but large. This is something that should probably be shared for two. The... More

As always, the food at Rick's was delicious. I enjoyed the pasta pockets filled with pear and gorgonzola immensely. However, the wait to be seated was interminable and uncomfortable. The restaurant would not take reservations for 2 people when I called, but assured me the wait would not be a problem. When we arrived, we were told 15 minutes. One... More

Rick's has been one of our "go to" restaurants for over 20 years. If you are looking for solid Italian fare in Central New Jersey, it should be on your list as well. It gets crowded on weekends, so if you don't have a reservation, be prepared to wait. It is definitely worth whatever wait there is! We ate there... More

I don't know why reviewers are saying they do not take reservations because they certainly do. Several people walked in and mentioned they had reservations including our party of four. They had tables with menus on them for people who had reservations. I had the seafood over pasta dinner. I asked for extra sauce and ate every bite. When I... More
