We went to Hamilton's for our anniversary, and it was everything we could have ever wanted! We don't go out to eat very often, so we wanted this experience to be worth our while and our wallet. It was both! The service was outstanding! Our server had a very balanced approach; not too over the top, but when we asked... More

having been patrons for many years,we hadn't been for a year or so following some"just ok" visits. On this occasion we rediscovered the Hamilton's Grill of Old-excellent oysters and scallops, crab cakes, veal chop and 'pork 3 ways",good fries and broccoli rabe. Helpful and well informed service and reasonable prices.

Four of us celebrated our daughter's anniversary in this wonderfully quaint cozy setting. Down a dead end street, next to the canal is this little piece of wonder hidden. It is pricey but a wonderful place. They had oysters on the 1/2 shell and I asked if the chef could cook them on the open grill with lemon and garlic..he... More

Read the "Jersey Shore" review below. ..that is how it always is here. It's been years, but decided to give it another try. They were not busy; the back room was a ghost town and the large party, with table set outside, had not arrived yet. The food is quite flavourful, and it's nice to see a slightly different menu... This was once a consistently wonderful place to go and now my husband and I have had two average meals. On this occasion, my anchovy shrimp was mushy (undercooked ?) whereas my husband's was good. we just shared his, not wanting to send back a second item in the same meal. We will return again, but we feel like we... More

Each time we dine here we love it, but this time the outdoors seating increased our enjoyment. They have expanded the number of seats available since most people opted for it on this lovely summer evening. Service and food were very good. We shared appetizers of angel hair pasta with pesto and cherry tomatoes and the grilled shrimp. Entrees of... More

Accidentally we ended up making reservations on an evening that had the theme dinner "Jersey Shore". We have heard very positive reviews of Hamilton's Grill so I don't whether this particular experience is indicative of the typical performance of the restaurant. However, my family and I arrived and stepped inside to the host station and the restaurant was very busy... More

Hamiltons is pricey. Sometimes you get a great meal, sometimes you really don't. I have stopped going here, after one too many poor experiences. I was embarrassed when I took friends there. I think they need to address their kitchen and give the place a really good clean!!

This was an excellent, yet laided back rehersal dinner. The food was lobster, sausage, chicken, corn on the cob and salad. Just the perfect dinner for an August wedding. Despite the fact that 20 more guests confirmed than originally thought just before dinner, the staff pulled it off without a hitch. Good job guys.

Enjoyed the special Jersey Shore Feast with friends in the delightful outdoor courtyard of Hamilton's Grill last evening. It was well worth the $29 fixed price for a salad with two luscious slices of real Jersey tomato, steamed clams and mussels, then 1/2 lobster, piece of spicy sausage, chicken thigh, red potatoes, and an ear of corn served "low country...
