Great upscale restaurant with reasonable prices. Food is excellent with an interesting selection. Dining room is small, so be sure to make reservations.

Have been eating out in Lambertville for years and this might be the best restaurant meal I have had there. A fixed priced menu full of so many great sounding appetizers, main courses, and desserts it's very hard to chose. Expect to want to taste everyone else's meals and have them try yours as well. Mushroom soup, sweet potato ravioli,... More

I loved this restaurant so much I going back every week. First I ordered a purée of mushroom which was delectable. Then I ordered the filet which was spectacular I don't think I have ever tasted something so good in my life. Then I had a lemon cheesecake which I loved. The only thing wrong was the staff they didn't... More

On the way home from the Trenton train station, after spending a working day in NYC, we decided to check out this restaurant. I had heard great things about this BYOB and we got lucky---because we had no reservation--- but we got in. I had the mushroom pureee soup with truffle oil and a superb crab cake! At lunch earlier... My husband and I were greatly looking forward to having dinner at Brian's after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and the New York Times. Unfortunately, however, our visit didn't live up to it's promise. We both ordered beef with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The beef was good but not as delicious as we were expecting it to be after all... More

Small place with excellent food, everything was just so tasty. We will return for sure. Had been here once before on a Saturday in the winter and it was packed with people crammed in the doorway. We had a nice meal but didn't get all the hype. This time went during the week and really enjoyed the experience. It was... More

We visited on my husband's birthday again this year and dinner was so delicious, that we ate every particle. The fixed price is reasonable and guarantees that we enjoyed an appetizer( mushroom soup), main course ( lemon chicken, crab cakes ), and dessert( Amaretto bread pudding and bananas Foster ) that all reflected Brian's wonderful skills in his kitchen. Wow!... More

Having enjoyed Rouget, a sophisticated restaurant in Newtown PA, I was disappointed when it closed over a year ago. Hearing good things about Brian's, a new one-price (Prix Fixe) restaurant in Lambertville NJ, we reserved a table for four on a Wednesday night. It turns out that Brian's is Rouget reincarnated (same chef/owner) and while the menu has changed, it... More

We've been Lambertville diners for almost 20 years. This place is excellent. The appetizers of sweet potato raviolis and potato crusted scallops were outstanding. My husband ordered the filet of beef and it was outstanding. Beef quality was very good, scallop potatoes creamy and delicious. My grouper was good. Since I only eat fish would have liked more fish entrees... More
