Authentic middle eastern food off the beaten track in Lambertville. Tiny restaurant , slow service, but worth the wait. They have belly dancers on the weekend that adds a fun atmosphere. Remember CASH ONLY, recommended

This restaurant is not much to look at but the food will bring you back. It is a small place off the beaten path. The fare is middle eastern/Egyptian in origin. There are the usual hummus, pita, falafel. There is quite a variety of more exotic options. Vegetarians will also have more than a couple of choices. Everything is freshly... More

After reading all the favorable reviews, I was looking forward to trying this restaurant. I can only guess that the kitchen staff was having a bad night because our dinner was two stars at best. The restaurant was only a third full when we placed our order, so they were not facing a backlog of orders. It took almost twenty... More

My wife and I visit that place often, sometimes with kids, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends. The place doesn't look like much on the outside, but they serve excellent Egyptian food. Fresh made hummus is outstanding, other appetizers range from excellent to very good. Most main dishes are pretty good. My wife and I usually order a few appetizers and... More

Very good food. Sometimes, as I said before, a little too salty. The place was packed last night and everyone seemed to be pleased with what they had. This time I actually got the Pistachio Ice Cream, which, on several visits in the past was not available. Delicious!!!! Our server , Lisa, seemed to be manning the place all by... More

Original "real" foods and not "American adaption" it is worth a visit, the place is very plane and spartan but you go for the foods and not the ambiance.

I love this type of food. Reminds me of being in Egypt in the 90's. It is always worth the wait since they cook from scratch. Don't be in a hurry or go some where else. My only criticism is that the chef has a heavy hand with salt. Keep that in mind if you have concerns/issues with it.
