Description: The love of family, friends and great food is a tradition for the Egoavils.Having relocated to the United States from Peru in 1992, they sought the opportunities their new home offered. They have now realized their family dream of owning and operating their own restaurant. El Tule was previously the home of another restaurant offering Mexican fare. The Egoavil Family has infused the eatery with a vibe all its own. El-Tule’s Mexican-Latin fusion includes traditional Mexican offerings as well as the addition of Peruvian menu items. Peruvian food has been gaining momentum among foodies across the nation, and prior to El Tule was extremely hard to find in the Delaware Valley. El Tule offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Guests may bring their own wine or alcohol of choice. Our patio is dog friendly.Subpages

I have been to El Tule twice now. The first time was just before going to Peru and wanting to taste the food. We had a Groupon and I went with a friend who was going to Peru with me. We both really enjoyed the meal and it got us excited for going to Peru. The staff were friendly and... More

Our table of three had a very good experience, prompt efficient service even though it was packed, and our meals were generous and delicious! Started with vegetarian nachos and quinoa soup. Very tasty. We each had a different entree and dessert. Our server Susana - she was excellent. It is a byob. We will be back very soon! In better... More

Have gone a couple of times but probably won't again. Some nights the food has more flavor than others so consistency is an issue. For our last visit the chifa ceviche was bland and tasteless as was the mixto. Shrimp didn't taste like they were cured in the lime juice but rather simply boiled and placed on top. Staff is... Family owned BYOB. We will need to return again because on the day of our visit the items we selected were not available. The selections we ordered were average. This restaurant served both Peruvian and Mexican cuisine and I would like to give it another try.

The day before Thanksgiving was a dreary wet and snowy day. What a treat to be transported to a warm sunny place with complex tastes and interesting dishes. Highly recommend this BYOB casual eatery. Staff was very attentive. Wish we lived closer.

We had the pleasure of dining at El Tule restaurant during our weekend stay in New Hope area after my husband participated in the Bucks County marathon. As a reward from the race, we decided to go for Peruvian food for lunch, and boy, what a great and delightful choice that was! We truly enjoy Peruvian food so we wanted... More

We were drawn here after a trip to Peru to try the NJ version of ceviche. Happy to say it was pretty good. We had the mizto - will try another next time. I had the Parihuela. While it was good, it is a lot of soup to have as a main course. Lady had a dish with quinoa and... More

Visited at lunchtime as party of four. Excellent food with lots of choice. Basic environment but helpful waitress who translated some of the finer points on the menu. Overall, a really good meal in a really relaxed environment..

Wonderful family restaurant with friendly and accommodating wait staff. Peruvian and Mexican cuisine was expertly prepared and a real value for the money. Bring your own Tequilla and El Tule supplies the rest for the makings of great Margarita's! Make a reservation on weekends and GO, you won't be disappointed!
