The love of family, friends and great food is a tradition for the Egoavils.Having relocated to the United States from Peru in 1992, they sought the opportunities their new home offered. They have now realized their family dream of owning and operating their own restaurant. El Tule was previously the home of another restaurant offering Mexican fare. The Egoavil Family has infused the eatery with a vibe all its own. El-Tule’s Mexican-Latin fusion includes traditional Mexican offerings as well as the addition of Peruvian menu items. Peruvian food has been gaining momentum among foodies across the nation, and prior to El Tule was extremely hard to find in the Delaware Valley. El Tule offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Guests may bring their own wine or alcohol of choice. Our patio is dog friendly.Subpages

We come here regularly since we live in the Lambertville area. The ceviche and Tacu Tacu dishes are excellent. My wife and kids love the guacamole and enchilada dishes. It's a nice addition to the wide assortment of restaurants in the area.

I really wanted to enjoy the food here. We haven't been back for a long time. We were told the place was under new management. The server, Jack is a very nice man but the food is just average.

This place was absolutely amazing. Starting with the service...very welcoming! We had called regarding their BYOB asking if they had sour mix if we brought our tequila and they had it ready when we arrived! The food was out of this world. My wife had the steak and I had the Ceviche. Absolutely wonderful! We can't wait to come back!

It's been a while since we've eaten at El Tule, and we were again wowed by this favorite, located on Main Street in Lambertville. The restaurant features both Mexican and Peruvian foods (some of which have Chinese influences). The menu is heavy on seafood, which is very good, especially the cerviches. If you've never had Peruvian food, the sampler is... More

The food selection is very interesting. Everything is fresh and tastey. We could not have been happier. Be sure to try the blue corn drink

The outdoor seating area is nestled among flower beds and table umbrellas keep the sun from your eyes -- so we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor dining. I couldn't decide what to order so I had the sampler platter and I'm glad I did. There were lovely examples of four Peruvian dishes -- and I loved them all. The presentation of... More

We visited for the first time and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious. Started with the new seafood appetizer ... Perfection. Entrees were equally good. Our group had the skirt steak tacu tacu and the Amazon red tail bass. Delicious! The owner was warm and friendly and our server was professional and very attentive.

EXCELLENT local secret. We went on Saturday afternoon for an early dinner. We had specialty drinks (Hibiscus Flower is tasty!), apps, entrees and dessert. The food was great, the waiter was fantastic. We were a little skeptical when we pulled up about the freshness of their seafood but the fried calamari was light as a feather and super fresh. The... El tule had incredible food....outstanding. But i have two negative criticisms 1. I ordered trio fajitas. Incredible eats. The issue is that the dish came with three tortillas. My father and I were sharing these therefore we were expected to each have ONE AND A HALF of a tortilla. This is absurd. We asked for more. After 15 minutes and... More
