We used to live in the area and ate here often before moving. Whenever we come back, we eat here. This time I ate here with my husband and two sons. Great service, delicious food with large portions, but great for sharing as well. We ordered one of the soups (beef)...and it was so yummy! My husband and I got... More

I've been in the past and found the service to be lackluster, but my most recent meal turned out to include excellent service. The food is good, and the atmosphere is nice. It's a good date and/or family restaurant if you like Chinese. It's also within walking distance of my apartment, which is a plus.

I have ordered lunch twice from the restaurant. Ordering from their website was easy, the food was ready in half an hour for pickup. I wish they would mention on their website that credit card requires 10$ min. Not impressed by the food. I had the lunch special which comes with choice of Salad, Soup or Vegetable Spring Roll. Prices... More

Most of the dishes are good although they do use meat tenderizer a little too much. If you order delivery, they will ring your doorbell within 30 minutes, especially if you live in Newport area. For Chinese food, it's a couple of dollars more than other Chinese restaurants in JC and Hoboken. Overall, they're good reliable Chinese restaurant.

Even if the orange beef was better than average, the service my family experienced tonight was terrible. We asked for hot green tea (their jasmine tea was too floral, like eating liquid flowers that simply overtakes the flavor of the food) only to be told brusquely by the waiter that they serve only jasmine tea. I then had to ask... More

Confucius is an ok choice. I really enjoy the szechuan dumplings with the spicy soy peanut sauce. I have been several times this year and I always find the food to be mediocre in general. The chicken and beef are always a little too "soft" for my liking. Seems like they are either undercooked or chemically processed or something. The... More

Loved the Chow Fun Beef for lunch and watching ESPN and CNN for a break from worm. Generals Chicken is good to. Paul at the bar is great.

Have been to this restaurant twice, and have had mixed experiences. The menu is haphazard and all over the place, but does have some good stuff.. The first time round, i tried some of the "veg" meat dishes- where its not really meat, but possibly soya etc? Was good. It looked so much like beef that for a moment, being... More
