This is my go-to spot for brunch! Not only is there plenty of space (whether in the main room, up on the intimate second-floor balcony, or in the quiet back room), but the walls are always adorned with interesting art exhibitions (some are even up for sale!). The organic greens & quinoa salad is an especial favorite of mine, and... More

I recently enjoyed their braised sea bass, which was a little pricey for Jersey City, but about right for the area, and was beautifully prepared and presented, and the flavour delicious. Pairing a wine or beer is easy at the Lighthorse, where they have a good selection of both, although I usually go for one of their Belgian beer choices... More

This restaurant is always a great place for a quick lunch, or a great dinner. Service and food for a party of six was excellent in all respects. The menu always has a wide selection, and is always changing. This is my favorite place when visiting Jersey City.

When I take friends to eat locally, this is my favorite place. It is an elegant place in the neighborhood. Must try their pear martini! Ambiance is great. Food never disappoints.

I never get tired of this place. We've been going here for years. You can't beat the atmosphere at the Lighthorse. Food has been consistent over the years as well. We love their fish entrees and raw bar.

One of my favorite places for a nice Sunday brunch. I have been going to this place for a while now and they have always been very consistent. Service and food is good and overall atmosphere is pleasant-

Just like the name implies, was a cozy tavern feel. They sat us next to the fireplace - the food was good and well presented. The staff was a little slow but attentive.
