Good food, reasonably priced and music is an extra bonus.

The food is good and there is a good selection with delicious appetizers and entrees. They have a pianist who is very good and plays requests if asked. The parking can be a little difficult so allow extra time to park.

In Jersey City for business and enjoyed a dinner at Lighthouse Tavern. It's a couple blocks from the water and easy to find. Beautiful bar, fun atmosphere and excellent food. Prices are not NYC high and many options on the menu. Wait staff is pleasant. They don't rush you. Food was fresh and creative. Recommend it if you are looking... More

Drove from the Jersey Shore to visit a daughter in Jersey City. MY wife had a friend recommend Lighthorse Tavern. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and we had reservations for an early dinner at 5. Arriving an hour early because we all missed lunch, we had to accept the bar menu or wait til 5 for the dinner menu.... More

This is my go-to spot for brunch! Not only is there plenty of space (whether in the main room, up on the intimate second-floor balcony, or in the quiet back room), but the walls are always adorned with interesting art exhibitions (some are even up for sale!). The organic greens & quinoa salad is an especial favorite of mine, and... More

this is a restaurant that is comfortable and inviting from the moment you walk in the door. nice warm lighting, candles, dark wood, small and a great menu to top it all off. Very personable waitstaff, excellent selection of beers, wines and alcohol. Menu that makes it extremely difficult to choose. outstanding french onion soup and mussels. charming gentrified neighborhood.... More

I recently enjoyed their braised sea bass, which was a little pricey for Jersey City, but about right for the area, and was beautifully prepared and presented, and the flavour delicious. Pairing a wine or beer is easy at the Lighthorse, where they have a good selection of both, although I usually go for one of their Belgian beer choices... More

This restaurant is always a great place for a quick lunch, or a great dinner. Service and food for a party of six was excellent in all respects. The menu always has a wide selection, and is always changing. This is my favorite place when visiting Jersey City.

When I take friends to eat locally, this is my favorite place. It is an elegant place in the neighborhood. Must try their pear martini! Ambiance is great. Food never disappoints.

I never get tired of this place. We've been going here for years. You can't beat the atmosphere at the Lighthorse. Food has been consistent over the years as well. We love their fish entrees and raw bar.

One of my favorite places for a nice Sunday brunch. I have been going to this place for a while now and they have always been very consistent. Service and food is good and overall atmosphere is pleasant-
