Good food, great beer

I recently enjoyed their braised sea bass, which was a little pricey for Jersey City, but about right for the area, and was beautifully prepared and presented, and the flavour delicious. This restaurant is always a great place for a quick lunch, or a great dinner. Service and food for a party of six was excellent in all respects. The menu always has a wide selection, and is always changing. This is my favorite place when visiting Jersey City.

When I take friends to eat locally, this is my favorite place. It is an elegant place in the neighborhood. Must try their pear martini! Ambiance is great. Food never disappoints.

I never get tired of this place. We've been going here for years. You can't beat the atmosphere at the Lighthorse. Food has been consistent over the years as well. We love their fish entrees and raw bar.

One of my favorite places for a nice Sunday brunch. I have been going to this place for a while now and they have always been very consistent. Service and food is good and overall atmosphere is pleasant-

Just like the name implies, was a cozy tavern feel. They sat us next to the fireplace - the food was good and well presented. The staff was a little slow but attentive.

The food here is DELICIOUS! Had to attend a business meeting at this location and we used their private back room. (Which is not quite, but it is away from the bar and front restaurant) Will definitely go back for a date night with my fiance! :-)

My husband picked this place from yelp. We showed up with no reservations, and we were impressed with the tavern like feel and atmosphere. The main room had high ceilings and was beautifully appointed. We were seated promptly, but in the back room - which while it was cute, the atmosphere was completely different and I felt a bit baited... More
