We were there on a Monday afternoon when it was not crowded at all. The rava dosa was awesome except I felt I should have requested less spicy with lesser mirchi. The Mysore masala dosa was crispy and awesome and makes you feel very heavy. The Utthapam was fine too. But, the best part of the lunch was Yogurt rice.... More

I am sorry I disagree with the general high opinion of this place. I would have forgiven the unpleasant temperature, the lack of cleanliness, the taken-for-granted service if the food we had was good. I find it difficult to believe that one can totally mess up a dosa - but on this day, for my wife and me, they did.... More

Great for a quick south indian meal, reasonably priced though not cheap, only accept cash. We don't visit as often anymore primarily because their hygiene isn't as good as it should be and there are other food options in the area that we prefer more. Bathrooms aren't very clean, and once I witnessed a customer leave because they claimed they... More

Good Tasty and authentic food; large portions. The swelling Sunday Afternoon crowd is a testimony to the quality. The food is simple and like home made - the sambar is not made to suite the North Indian palette. The restaurant can do more about cleanliness, especially near the trash cans. It is also painful to see that all the plates... More

I went for the idly, vada, dosa combo for 8 bucks, the idly and vada did not leave their mark on me as much as the Dosas (you practically can't go wrong with the dosas) The sambar was pretty watery though for once I did find the coconut chutney pretty well executed. Will go there again (I should also try... More

It's an amazing, very low ambience but decent size place. They have numbers on each table and they call you when your food is ready. Their menu is mostly in Hindi, or transliterated Hindi, as I'm not familiar enough with the language to know. If you speak no Hindi at all you have to pick dishes at random because they... More

Together with the Loew's Landmark Jersey City this restaurant makes the most unique dinner-movie combination in the Tri-State area. The service and atmosphere are unashamedly authentic, but it is the food that should bring you here. Delicious Dosas in a myriad of flavors and styles. I do not know what half the things on the extensive menu even are, but... More

Good value or money. The Dosas are crisp and feebly made

Good food, however I think it's not VFM. Sambar wasn't great, also need more varieties of chutneys. Definitely good portions though. Don't miss the filter coffee aka madras coffee. Been there, done that .. don't think i'll go for the dosas again.. maybe for the coffee.
