Jersey City Favorite

This is one of my favorite Jersey City bistros. Their menu offers something for everyone and the food is delicious! Be sure to try the crostinis!‎

Amelia's has a great menu, great service. The brunches are delicious. It works for a couple, family with kids, or business purposes. Cod is wonderful. Pastas are terrific. Only drawback is that the restrooms are downstairs.

With our family we went here for diner. I didn't know what to expect. We were very surprised. One of the best restaurants where we have eaten during our USA vacation! The staff could have been more enthousiastic.

Since Amelia's opened when I lived in Paulus Hook, it's been a favorite. Their outdoor seating is se-up with a really nice sense of design. The menu has always had a lot of choice and they make interesting drinks. Recently I was invited to a brunch meeting there and deduced to try the "Gulf Shrimp & Grits" since it's such... More

We invited 8 family members for brunch at Amelia's on July 11 for a special meal prior to my son's wedding. I made reservations in advance and found the restaurant was extremely cooperative and accommodating. The group ordered a variety of meals from the menu and found each professionally prepared, attractive and well tasting. The service was excellent and the... More

Nice location with many tables outside. The menu is quiet diverse with original entries. The food is quiet elaborate, better than average . We enjoyed the appetizer and entrees, but not the deserts which were just common.

I've been to Amelia's Bistro several times when I visited the area. Their selection of food is varied and always cooked to perfection. The Sunday Brunch menu is very good and has an emphasis on more health choices than I usually find at brunches. I ordered the wild mushroom, gruyère & caramelized onion omelet and it was delicious. When I... More

Last minute brunch at Amelia's. Used TA to find it and was not disappointed. Cute little place in the heart of the marina district in Jersey City. Great food and service. It was Easter Sunday and despite being packed, they were able to find us a table for two. There is outside seating, but it was just a bit too... More
