I love this place. Hidden on Marin Avenue and NYC steakhouse quality. Completely destroyed during Sandy but renovated now and as great as ever!

Sandy had some dire effects on this mall little gem, located conveniently in the heart of the ever growing jersey city!! Finally the doors are open for business, theappetizers, and steak are to die for. Attentive wait staff, bustling bar upstairs, and a more quiet scene downstairs. Pricing is just right, the appetizers are very good, and can suggest each... More

Edward's had fine service and great food, even though I was not particularly in the mood for steak last night. Prices were expectedly high but I'd be concerned if it was lower. The big negative is that it's not particularly close to anything you might be at in JC if you are taking clients out on business.

Visited with 9 guys for my brothers bachelor party. Great table upstairs in the Dining Room. Good choice of craft beer if you don't want wine. The starter of choice was the Applewood Smoked Bacon, awesome bacon served on its own on a plate, what more would you want! You can even have it on your steak as well. The... More

I tried this based on all the high reviews for food. It was very busy that night so not sure of that was an issue but my steak was over cooked and my lobster was under cooked. Service was great and owner was there for an issue. I will give it another try.

Edwards is my daughter's favorite restaurant. Now I know why. I had the scallops which were excellent and my friend had the filet which was the best I ever tasted. The staff is excellent and the owner is very involved. He visits every table to ask if you enjoyed the meal. A bit pricey but not too bad for New... More

We came in on a recommendation from The Hyatt where we were staying. Not too far away in the taxi, and good food, good service ,nice olde world charm. Recommended .especially if staying on that side of the City.

I work in Jersey City and love steak. I was thrilled to find Edwards Steak House on Marin Blvd. The dining room is well appointed and has a subtle elegance to it. The service is very good and I was never in need of a new drink or extra napkin. Finally the food was terrific from their grilled slab bacon,... More

My husband and I ordered steaks. He ordered the biggest steak. I ordered the filet. I have eaten melt in your mouth filets. This was not one of them. It was good, just not excellent. In this price range I expect excellent.

Was recommended by Hyatt Jersey City as the best steak house around. I would agree. You can eat at their bar if you are a couple but I would call ahead if you want a table on a weekend. The steaks were tender and ample, the veggies are extra and serve two. The wine list was pretty good. All in... More
