Solid italian fare, good wine list. Had the short ribs special and it was falling off the bone tender. The left side of the menu has standard italian offerings, and then the right side has their updated takes on these offerings (with no prices). We needed the waiter to explain the prices cary over from the left side of the... More

Probably one of the top Italian restaurants I have eaten in the NY and the surrounding area. The menu is divided between real traditional Italian food and a signature version. I can highly recommend the slow cooked lamb and the Spaghetti Amatriciana. Close to The Hyatt on the Hudson with a pleasant walk. 10min to WTC.

I have been here a few times and it is always a pleasant experience. The service was very good (a new waiter, but remembered all of the specials and there were a lot of them) and the food as always was excellent. I had the gnocchi bolognese and it was great. The wine list is very extensive, but can be... More

Food and service were OK, but nothing so good as to rate 5 stars. Price for a group of 4 with 1 bottle of Italian White was $280 before tip.

Food was delicious. All four of us enjoyed our meals-veal caprice, butterflied shrimp with spinach, lamb chops with mushrooms and filet of beef. The highlight of this meal was the impeccable service, rarely found anywhere else. Restaurant was definitely pricey, but nice for a special occasion.

The food is very good; the setting is very beautiful; and the prices are quite reasonable for the business-oriented Jersey City waterfront. On a weeknight the restaurant was far less than half full, but service was a big problem. My evening was nearly ruined by our waiter whose accented English was very difficult to understand. What I objected to was... More

Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in Jersey City...if not the state. Check out their menu on their website, and try not to drool on yourself. Great wine selection also. It is going to cost you over a hundred dollars with one bottle of wine. So its a place for that special occasion if this is a little pricey... More

We dined on Saturday evening at Porto Leggero, another great restaurant owned by Chef Cetrulo. I had the Bronzino Livornese which was fresh and delicious with just the right balance of capers and olives. My husband had the special, the roasted Alaskan king salmon which was also moist and flavorful. The prices are average for NJ and the potions, just... More
