Friday Evening in the place was packed. For Jersey City city Vietnamese cuisine doesn't get any better. Chinatown in the city if you only alternative. Well-prepared and great presentation. The place was hopping with Asian customers. Always a good sign.

Nha Trang Place reminds me of the fantastic family-style Vietnamese restaurants in Garden Grove, California, near where I used to live and home of the country's largest Vietnamese population. The restaurant looks a little divey but the food is consistently great and very affordable. Extensive menu of dishes familiar and otherwise. Efficient if not always super-friendly service. Great pho (and... More

Not much ambiance and the bathrooms are scary, but if you want authentic and a really good Vietnamese meal for the buck, this place is rocks. It's also BYOB.

It's is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in NJ, bar none, and may have the best Pho I ever had. So the decor is not much to look at, but if you order the shrimp summer rolls, a Pho Tai, and an iced coffee, you'll leave very satisfied. My wife, who doesn't care much for Vietnamese food, recommends the chicken fried... More

Affordable and good enough vietnamese joint. Family style, nothing fancy. You cant eat very well for under 20 bucks. Large part of the crowd is there for the Pho (vietnamese kind of soups). We go there for the fried crabs as the main attraction, and alway order as appetizer, the vietnamese rolls with the lettuce wrap. I recommended it in... More

My wife have been coming here at least twice a month for five years -- because the food we order keeps us wanting to come back. Yes, the service can be either too slow or too fast, yes, unless you order appetizers, wait, and then order main dishes, all the food comes out at once. But the sad sacks reviewing... More

We love the take out from here, you get great value for money and very high quality food? The place is always packed, 80 % Asian customers which really speaks to the authenticity of the food

The cruddy, nasty, dirty look of the outside of this establishment matches the inside AND sadly, the food as well. Due to the rave reviews I decided to try this place even if my fiance flat out said no after taking one look at it. Wish I had listened. The food was greasy and the ingredients in it had, I... More

I decided to try this place bec of the reviews I read. I asked my fiance to try out with me. He took one look at it and said, "No way". I was stubborn. Next time I'm trusting him. The only thing to speak about this place is the food is cheap. Unfortunately the taste and quality of it is... More

I really wanted to like this place. It's dirt cheap, and it's "authentic," or so I've heard from people who know better than I do. These kind of restaurants are the kind of hidden gems you dream of living upstairs from when you move to a large city. Unfortunately, Nha Trang is not one of those gems. I so wanted... More
