We have a party of 6 celebrating a special family occasion. We ate on the roof top deck. It was a lovely evening. The service was very good and the food was pretty good. I had a special tuna dish. The presentation was very nice. The tuna was tasty but was a thin cut. Was ordered medium rare but came... More

Delicious food. I've eaten there a few times and was never disappointed. It is a tad more than I care to spend, hence, only gone a few times. If you just drint water, the bill is manageable. Drink and you're paying through the nose. Wine by the glass is overpriced and only "just ok." Wish this place was BYOB, then... More

Took my son to Taekwondo class right next to this place one weekend and we decided to stop for some brunch! Well, the place is just so perfect, I was amazed! The decor is beautiful to details! Service was great and the food was also very nice! The server was so friendly to my son, it made us very comfortable!... More

We had dinner at Skinner's rooftop Loft and we had a great experience. We were seated upstairs and the atmosphere was very cute and warm. I liked the bread basket : great!.The staff was friendly , the food was very good although the menu was not so large. Overall very nice dinner experience and if you are around the area,... More

Whenever friends come in to visit, the first place on our list is Skinner's. They always have a couple vegetarian choices and they do seem to please our omnivorous friends. The rooftop is a treat in the summer time. The ceiling on the second floor is majestic, but bare in mind there are a lot of steps up to their... More

This is a great spot in JC. Food is always interesting and well worth the trip. The brunch menu is limited but provides a variety of choices. There is a funky little roof top space. Grat place to take friends.

Fabulous rooftop brunch! Coffee was so-so, but the food was very good. The setting was gorgeous and eclectic. We enjoyed the lobster BLT the best. We ordered Bloody Marys which were lovely and had horse radish and olives. It was my birthday and we had a fantastic little sparkler candle that was a blooming flower. Exciting place for a nice... If you feel like staying in Jersey and skipping the PATH or, god forbid, driving into the city, Skinners Loft will not disappoint. A crowded bar with games on the tube takes up the first floor but upstairs is the eponymous lofty decorated in a slightly middle-eastern motif. We started off with the fried calamari which was the perfect combination... More

My husband and I had dinner at Skinner's Loft over the weekend, and we had a great experience. We sat upstairs and the atmosphere was comfortable, eclectic and warm. We started with the cippolini onion blossoms; very tasty. My husband enjoyed his steak and parmesan fries and the burger I had was excellent. I also really loved the side of... More
