Great Brunch & Dinner

I haven't been disappointed on anything from here. From the mac n cheese to the pasta to specials everything is delish! Its a little on the pricy side but totally worth it.

Our first night in the US and we found ourselves eating upstairs in the Loft. Jet lagged but totally happy with this first experience of NewJersey food and restaurant culture. Great beer choice, helpful diners at the next table and friendly service. The food? No complaints from us about the Cornish Hen and the Turkey Meatloaf. Tasty, original and served... More

It's an old building, tucked away in downtown. It's a main street being gentrified by the month. Cozy inside, great bartenders, great upstairs dining.

I've been here twice now for brunch and have loved it both times. First of all, the atmosphere/decor on the second floor is super cute and just perfect for brunch. Then they bring you these amazing biscuits. And finally, your food comes out, and it is just fantastic. It seems to fill up pretty quickly (and they don't take reservations... More

I've been to Skinner's Loft several times and have always been impressed with the food. The rooftop deck is also a tranquil urban oasis in the warmer months. Today I was especially impressed with the truffled lobster hash with poached eggs as part of their brunch menu. We wound up here since our go-to Jersey CIty brunch option, Madame Claude's... More

Great menu, great food and I love the atmosphere and decor of this restaurant. One of my favorites. Been here several times and always had a delicious meal. They also have a rooftop deck which is very cool on summer evenings.

Skinner's Loft is an unique and cozy restaurant where the food is quite good albeit limited. The prices are fair and their drink selection is both innovative and expansive. The atmosphere is very charming as it has the feel of an old industrial loft with interesting items that make up the decor. We were there for a birthday celebration and... More

The menu has something for everyone. This was my third visit and it was, like the other two visits, quite enjoyable. The space is quite tight but once you get settled you hardly notice it. The drinks are generous portions and so is the food, I enjoyed the stuffed pork chop and my companions also enjoyed their food.

Was traveling on business and was on my own for one night. Found this place on Trip Advisor and thought I would give it a go. I was not disappointed. Service was excellent and genuinely friendly. Food was very good. The menu was limited but had a good variety. I had the salmon for main and warm chocolate cake with... More
