Loved the appetizers - crab fritters and empanada. Really loved the pork medallions in apricot sauce. Wait staff was exceptional, bus staff was too. The owner and chef visited our table to see how we liked our meal. Nice touch!

A upgrade from the average local restaurant with good food on a limited selection. Great for a nicer place for lunch. The onion soup was fabulous. My wife loved the Caesar salad and i ate a great turkey and avocado sandwich. Prices slightly above average with excellent service earning the tablecloths. The restaurant doesn't have a bar. It also has... More

Tonight, we visited Fiddleheads to sample Jamesburger Station, their Wednesday night burger event, and we were not disappointed! I had the Southwest Chief, with peppers, guacamole, tomatoes and lettuce, with a perfectly done burger on a perfectly toasted Kaiser roll. As per usual, the food was exquisitely prepared and the portions were exactly right, so I was able to keep... More

Having been to Fiddleheads several times since the 1990's, it was not a hard suggestion to go back to a place that I had enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, my experience was not what I remembered it to be. Admittedly, of the probably 10+ times that I have made the out of the way trip to Jamesburg, a few were... More

My Mom lives in an assisted living facility nearby. While visiting from my home in Montana I heard that this was a very good restaurant. Unfortunately, during my prior visits, we had various issues occur and we were not able to have the nice dinner out that we had hoped for. Finally, during my most recent visit we were able... More

I was told this is one of the local favorites and I have to agree. White table cloths. Personal friendly service. 3 menus. One offers burgers. One offers special of the day. One is the regular menu with lots of choices. Homemade ice lemonade is refreshing. Crab cake sandwich with salad is unique and tasty.

We moved to this area recently and were looking for a "special occasion" restaurant. We took a chance at Fiddleheads and boy did we hit the jackpot! Put simply, all four of us (fairly critical diners) were more than satisfied with our choices. For a relatively small restaurant the menu was surprisingly extensive and diverse (Fiddleheads is known for its... More

Fiddleheads has been one of our go-to restaurants for a decade or more. The food is consistently good, but a little pricey. BYOB, which helps. The waiters are attentive. The smoked tomato soup is a favorite! While the restaurant is small, I don't feel cramped. Artwork decorates the the walls, and soft music is played. If price is a concern,... More

Not to our liking, nothing special and too over priced for nothing special. Regular far you can get anywhere without those prices. Tables are small and crampy, service is fair to say the least. No not going back, the local diners are much better.
