Description: The Madison Bar and Grill is filled with an ambiance and class that is usually reserved for Manhattan eateries. The formal dining room is cleverly decorated in a 1940s style reminiscent of a chic roadside inn. The décor works an evocative, magical mood, with bare wood floors, wainscoted walls, soft lighting and subtle touches from a bygone era. Patrons can also enjoy The Madison’s eclectic American Cuisine at the bar, or, from April-November, outdoors in an al fresco cafe that wraps around the street corner. Be sure not to miss The Madison’s Weekly Events, including the Sunday Jazz Brunch, First Seating, Tuesday Night Martini Madness, Thursday Taco Night and Endless Happy Hour. The restaurant also offers Private Parties and Off-Premises Catering. The Madison Bar and Grill is a great place for families, professionals, romantic dinners or anyone who likes to unwind and enjoy great food, drinks and service in a sophisticated, comfortable eatery.

We had a great brunch at this place. Large choice, good quality of food. However the service is pretty slow and, at some point, the waiter took all our cutlery, without asking whether we wanted to continue eating! Nice neighborhood for a walk afterwards.

Visited this restaurant around 5:30 PM without reservations on Saturday night and had no trouble getting seated. The tables had paper on them and my grandson had a fantastic time drawing on the table with crayons. After a server brought our drinks, we leisurely ordered our selections and were brought to us with a half an hour. My seafood dish... More

We had an enjoyable lunch at The Madison the other day. The restaurant is nicely appointed. We were warmly greeted and immediately seated. The service was friendly and very attentive. The menu was extensive. Our food was delicious.I had a Cobb salad which came with iceberg lettuce, avocado, bacon, blue cheese, grilled chicken, and hard boiled egg with a spicy... More

Tried this restaurant with my wife for a late lunch. We had visited for late drinks a couple years ago and we really like the elegant Tavern setting. This place has been in business for many years. Along with a great beer and wine selection, the food was well above average with a very friendly and on the ball waitress.... More

My husband and I ate at this restaurant for lunch. The food was average. For some reason, the shrimp po’ boy sliders (three total) only had dressing on one half of each sandwich. Each shrimp was overcooked and lacked flavor. The lobster roll was fine, but it was not the best. The truffle fries were okay, but they were a... More

Quaint upscale tavern atmosphere with a good beer menu. Stopped in here for a quick pint and really liked the tap selection. Not your standard Guinness and Yuengling selection, they had Brooklyn reserve and troeggs. Food looked very tasty, especially the burgers which many of the regulars opted for. Staff was friendly and prompt. Definitely coming back for brunch.

We had a group of six adults and three children and they handled us very well. The food was brought quickly to the kids and then our meals shortly thereafter. The Mediterranean Mezze plate was excellent and the pizzas were very good too. Also, try the bloody mary it is very spicy and delicious.

Dropped in on the off chance and had a great couple of hours. Bar staff friendly and the nachos were really good with a BBQ sauce made a real nice change. Had a Brooklyn Ale and there were plenty of other choices there too as well as some nice sounding cocktails. Would def go back if I was local.

I have dined at The Madison many times. For the most part the food and service are consistently good. The place is kid friendly which is nice as well. The bar becomes very lively after 10 and is a great place to have a drink and hang out. The Madison is worth the trip.
