Delectable but pricy

Enjoyed every morsel of the veal meatballs and the lamb. Didn't mind the NYC sized bill after such an enjoyable meal but need to take a second job to make it a regular stop. Good special occasion place for sure.

I hadn't been to AD since 2008 for dinner. I was with a group of 6 and we waited about an hour to be seated, on a very cold night, but it was worth it. Meal portions are perfect (not huge as most restaurants) and it's BYOB which makes it affordable.

It wasn't just over priced, its over rated by Hoboken yuppies that simply don't know good food. The trendy chalkboard or evening candles may fool the local kids but the so called rib eye steak for $40 is a total joke weighing in at about 4 oz. Prawns???? Please....who are you kidding with these frozen shop rite shrimp. Not even... More

Came for dinner last night. High prices comparable to nyc, but byob so makes up for it. The food overall was very good, but a few of the dishes were just good. Muscles to start . Nice fresh muscles but the sauce it was cooked in was just ok. The asparagus appetizer with egg prosciutto was amazing . Also had... More

This is a comfortable, warm restaurant, tall ceilings and big windows bringing in lots of natural light. Went there for lunch and loved it. Lunch menu itself is interesting, although there seems to be undue emphasis on trendy ingredients (I'm NOT a fan of kale or brussels sprouts). I jumped into the brunch offerings and tried the Taleggio frittata and... More

what a pleasure to get a brunch there on a chilly Sunday morning, just before heading to the city. I highly recommend this friendly place, full of smiling faces. You will get a fresh orange juice as well as a selection of eggs Benedict, or other style with either classical potatoes or some stunning Gorgonzola fries, as well as ham,... More

The first time we attempted to go to Anthony David's we hoofed it several blocks to this backstreet, no reservations, storefront restaurant only find there was an hour plus wait. Hunger did not allow us to wait after all there are so many restaurants to try in Hoboken. So we set off for another vowing to return. Return we did... More

Our friends in Hoboken took us to this place and what a jewel it was. The location is with walking distance, outside seating, nice menu and BYOB. Had several very good dishes and the pasta calabrase was a standout. Just cooked right. The duckwas a specialty and both my friends loved it. Bring your own wine and enjoy a fine,... More

What started out as a corner store in Hoboken and then moved on to prepared foods to go is now serving delicious food to sit-down customers all day long. It's a small restaurant and can get very busy, so reservations are a really good idea. We went for a quick dinner before a night out and the food was excellent.... More

This is the best for brunch in Hoboken, least ways that I have been to. Well worth a try. Fresh orange to start!
