Good local restaurant

It had been several years since I had eaten at the Brass Rail. The hostess and the wait staff were very pleasant and helpful. We ordered Carbonara pizza, Spanish Octopus and a spinach salad. I attended a business dinner and the food and service was exceptional. Unique touches on common dishes, excellent vegetarian option. It gets VERY loud but it's worth it for the food!

When you are looking for descent food, the Brass Rail is there...It's a little more expensive than many in the area but its a little bit better as well. The appetizers are great and you can make a meal with a friends with 3+ items. Brunch on the weekends is good filling for what ails you...

Went here with family. My pulled pork sandwich (one of the specials) tasted like it was burnt badly. Wife's French onion soup was not good. Son did not like burger and Mom did not like hers either. The service and ambiance were good. Won't be coming again

Just celebrated Mother's Day with my extended family for brunch. Prix fix was reasonable ($25) and the menu offered a variety of appetizers and main courses of breakfast and lunch items. Great Bloody Mary too!

I think this place might be good for drinks and a burger. It always seems busy. We came for brunch. This was our first visit. The staff is attentive but it is not worth a second trip for us. I am in the food industry and travel a lot so maybe I am spoiled. The food was not that good,... More

Mother's Day disaster! The front of the house had NO CLUE what the back of the house was preparing for a PRE-FIXED menu. TWICE we had to change our orders, after an hour of being seated, because the original pre-fix menu was not correct. Basically were left with burgers for Mother's Day. Wait staff needs more training or needs to... More

Went here for brunch, and ordered the brunch that came with drinks. For $30 you get an appetizer, entree, and all the mimosas, Bloody Mary's, Dosequi, or Sangrias you can drink while you eat. The food, drinks, and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was very nice. I will be going back.

Great outside seating and the bar has view seats too. Great for people watching. The bartenders are friendly and the locals are too. The food is good enough to keep you coming back.

A tip: try to get there BETWEEN Lunch & Dinner, when the noise level is bearable ! We were only there for drinks, but thoroughly enjoyed the French onion soup, the mussels appetizer (good broth !), the squash salad & the wine. The service was good, the ambience is quite nice, the location is perfect -- only a 2-block walk... More
