Good private room upstairs

We had a company event here, and it was nice to have a large private area to ourselves upstairs. Would recommend this location for a work event. There was some okay vegetarian options, but having not tried many of the other dishes being served, I can't comment on all the food.

Very charming restaurant with a lovely old world decor. Very warm and charming with an intimate setting. Well diversified menu. I tried to the tuna with black rice and the dish was delicious. Server was very attentive and friendly.

I took my friend from out of town here for dinner. What a mistake. I got the chicken with fettuccine. I ate some of it until I noticed THE RAW CHICKEN. Two pieces were about 80% uncooked and one larger piece was 100% uncooked. I showed the server the raw meat and he quickly whisked the plate away without saying... More

Sorry you felt as though your chicken was undercooked. As Lisa mentioned to you Monday night it was not undercooked and especially not raw...We actually have both the picture of your dish and film of the food being cooked as everything in our establishment is recorded..As always, we are not perfect and we do make mistakes, however your chicken was... Went here by accident, as we were looking for a close by restaurant, (we were walking). Service was prompt and the food was pretty good.

Sure, there are many Italian and other styles in Hoboken, but if you want steak go directly here. Great food, well prepared, with good service at a good price. The Steak Frite with blue cheese topping is perfect on each and every visit! And there is always desserts too! Good beer and wine list available. Go!

Went here for dinner and was typical/average bar food. Had a burger. Extremely noisy inside and we were there early afternoon.

I wanted to go here for awhile. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Kind of hard to describe but everything was just ok. It's expensive though.

It had been several years since I had eaten at the Brass Rail. The hostess and the wait staff were very pleasant and helpful. We ordered Carbonara pizza, Spanish Octopus and a spinach salad. The octopus was excellent. The sauce and the toppings on the pizza were good but the crust was dry and too chewy for my taste. I... More

I attended a business dinner and the food and service was exceptional. Unique touches on common dishes, excellent vegetarian option. It gets VERY loud but it's worth it for the food!

When you are looking for descent food, the Brass Rail is there...It's a little more expensive than many in the area but its a little bit better as well. The appetizers are great and you can make a meal with a friends with 3+ items. Brunch on the weekends is good filling for what ails you...
