I was at Carlo's just right next to this restaurant. Me and my family were so hungry, so we decided to just gave this place a shot. Ordered couple of food, like general tso's chicken, satay fried rice, etc...SURPRISINGLY THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD YOU MIGHT BE IN SHOCK. Went home with a full belly and a happy mood.

Lunch was cheaper than McDonald's! And way healthier and much better tasting. This is the best Malaysian restaurant i have eaten at in NYC or DC - and those were more famous (expensive) sites. The spice was good but not over the top. The milk tea was the best I have tasted outside of Penang!

Satay inever disappoints. The food is always consistent and authentic. I have mostly done 'takeout' and it is always well packed and presented

This amazing Malaysian restaurant in Hoboken is in a very unassuming part of town. Next to the very famous Carlo's Bake chop. The owners are always in hand and they are superb in service and a friendly chat. The food is very good and real authentic. The Kari Ayam is the signature dish and you must have that. The Roti... The lunch specials here are amazing! They are cheap ($7) and delicious, and there are over 30 items to pick from! The food is authentic Malaysian/Indonesian fusion, and always good! It's right off Washington st and 1st, right next to Carlo's bakery. Go check it out.

If you are looking for fast service and good food then you should try this resto. The price is very reasonable and quality of food is great. The place is not big at all and it gets pack at lunch time.

Roti canai (with chicken curry) was good. Fresh coconut juice was above average. The noodles we ordered were good too. The service was good and the waitress was nice enough to give good recommendations. I would definitely go back to try other interesting things on the menu.

Very good Malaysian food. I lived in Indonesia and Malaysia for 3 years, and this was as close to authentic Malay/Indo food that I've have in the US. Fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Highly recommended if you like this type of cuisine. The service was excellent. The waiter went out of his way to take care of my family and me,... More

Authentic Malay food in Hoboken, New Jersey. Great satay, curry, best roti. I recommend to stick with Malay food, not Chinese food. They are best at Malay dishes. The space is tight. Mr. Leung (owner) is very welcoming. I will come again when I visit this neighbourhood next time. They are next to Carlo's Bakery on the famous Carlo's Bakery... More
