This is a wonderful restaurant in Hoboken. It is definitely a place for a romantic dinner, a special occasion, or just a great tasting dinner. It is a little pricey but the meals are worth it! Parking can be a problem in Hoboken but Amanda's struck a deal with a parking garage a couple of blocks away for free parking.... More

We were in New York for Thanksgiving and wanted to go out for a special dinner for the evening, and I had e-mailed with the manager in advance and booked a table for this busy night. From the moment, we stepped in the door, we felt welcomed. The restaurant is beautiful and with a wonderful ambiance. Service was friendly and... More

After a frustrating hour plus looking for a parking place near Washington Street, we ended up at Amanda's by luck or chance. It's next door to Ali Baba's, which our son-in-law had recommended but wasn't what we were looking for. Our nerves were frazzled by this time and we wanted a quiet meal. We didn't know what to expect -... More

We attended at party at Amanda's in one of their private rooms. Despite the considerable size of our group, the service was perfect. Everyone's glass was filled without anyone searching for a server. The appetizers were brought around, through the crowd, allowing all the guests to taste the delectable without having to wait. The sit-down dinner was terrific. The ravioli... More

I was highly impressed with this restaurant in every category! Food was superb! Beautiful accommodations and 2nd-to-None customer service! Waitress and management went above and beyond to ensure a very delicious and enjoyable experience! I drove down from Rhode Island and took my son (who flew in from Chicago) and my sister and her husband who lived nearby in Wood-Ridge,... More

My wife and I dined with our daughter and her husband recently at the height of service on a Saturday night. From the point of making the reservation to settling the check everything was first class. The restaurant is in a brownstone on the main retail/commercial avenue through Hoboken. I worked in this area 30 years ago and let's just... More

I must begin by saying I've enjoyed some good meals at Amanda's, mostly dinner. And I make a point to not post negative reviews. But I would love to see them improve upon this brunch experience I had today. From the moment we entered (there was no wait), I felt like we were being hustled through. I might have been... More

My partner and I went out for a nice Saturday dinner at Amanda's, and found the food very tasty and we had a great meal. I will say that Amanda's has validated parking about three blocks away. That's a great benefit, since the flat fee is $25. Basically, that's an entrée. Amanda's is a somewhat intimate restaurant, but you'd still... More

A group of 8 of us had dinner at Amanda's and had a good experience. Nothing was absolutely phenomenal but nothing was bad either. We were seated in a private room and I am not sure if it was because we were in our own room but the service rather lacked. There was quite a long amount of time between... More

We were a party of eight for brunch and had a gorgeous room with a view to the terrace all to ourselves. First impression was great. The fellow who kept our water glasses filled and brought bread was great, but our waitress cold have done better. I'm allergic to peppers, but didn't want to advertise it, so I asked if... More
