Still Hoboken's Best

Small and enjoyable place to dine and the star of Hoboken's scores of eateries. It is particularly a wonderful place for a weekend brunch with the family. The food is always excellent, with service and ambience to boot,

I have lived in Hoboken since 2007 and this is not the first time I have ever been to Amanda's, but I figured it was time to write a review for this fine restaurant. From the outside this restaurant looks inviting and cozy. There is no outdoor seating but plenty of seating inside, broken up by different themed rooms. Right... More

I've lived in Hoboken for 6 years now and have been to Amandas quite a few times. Each time the experience and food have been superb. However none more than my last visit. I had rented out a private room for a special event. From the time I first talked to Jonathan to the time the event ended it was... More

My husband and I love this restaurant. It's cozy, unique and romantic. The service was excellent and our waiter's wine recommendation was spot on. We enjoyed the delicious appetizers and the main course. We definitely had a memorable anniversary evening at Amanda's and have returned several times after. One of our favorites!

The food served here is gourmet and changes all the time. It is also a very charming atmosphere as it has an outdoor area in the back. Each plate is of a different vintage pattern which also makes it so eclectic. My only negative is the price, but when I think abut it, it is worthy of the price in... More

The food never disappoints nor does the atmosphere. The bar might be small but the infused vodka selection isn't. A wonderful place to spend a birthday or a date. The wine list is a bonus as are their excellent early bird specials.

My family dined here for Father's Day and had an excellent experience. We sat downstairs, by ourselves in a dining room. It was very nice, because we had privacy. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious, and all seven of us agreed on that, including two children. I had the eggs benedict, which was super yummy!... More

We had brunch there on a rainy Sat. Walking in was like walking back in time. Reminded me of a Victorian era parlor. There was a baby shower going on in a side room and felt like a party. The food was varied and interesting. My eggs Benedict were cooked exactly as requested were very good. My daughter and husband... More

Had the crab cake eggs benedict and it was awesome. I'm super particular about my 'maryland' style crab cakes but these definitely held up. The mimosa was a great size as well. And reasonable price.

the staff is really friendly. The food is tasteless: for once they do not use an incredible amount of fatty oil. the food is not good despite light and portions are very small. The place is tiny and if warm, you sweat your dinner out!
