If anyone ever have a craving for cuban food, this is a great place. Their cubano mojito is amazing and their bread is amazing. I usually never eat the bread, but somehow this one time I decided to try and and inhaled all of the bread except for the ones my friends got to first. We asked for a second... More

Just made our second trip to this restaurant. As it was last time, food was great. Service was very good but not outstanding. It was not to busy on a Sunday about 6 pm. My wife loves the salmon. And she is a tough customer. I had the ropa vieja again. I know I should try something else bug it... More

This place is more than fantastic. I've been here a number of times and it never disappoints. Every dish tastes amazing...I don't know if it's Cuban good in general, but this place has a wow factor. They do specials during the week like 'Mojito Monday' and their plates are very affordable. Portions are large. Brunch is my favorite meal here,... More

The Concierge of the hotel gave us a list of recommended restaurants and checkmarked her personal favorites. The Cuban looked worth a try and it was. Dinner was superb and the Sangria was to die for. Or at least, to stay for. Unfortunately, we had to get to "The City" for a show so we reluctantly left. Adgain, the dinner... More

After some negative experiences with other Hoboken restaurants, this is a safe-haven for good food, good atmosphere, good service and such. I have been here several times. The bar is a good quick place to eat, and the Sangrias are amazing if that is your thing or not. A talented guitar-player plays excellent music. Food was delicioso.

We were two couples and were going to go to La Isla after seeing the food network show, but due to the weather we made a last minute reservation here. Turned out to be a great choice. We sat in the back which was nicely decorated and quieter than the front room bar. Loved the Mojito choices. We split a... More

You feel as if you are transported and on vacation. The music, the drinks and food are outstanding. Start with the Washington Street cocktail if you enjoy a little spicy kick. Then you must have their strip steak with yucca. Out of this world. Great wine selection as well. 5 stars and counting each time we visit.

I've eaten there twice and I really enjoyed the food and the prices are definitely reasonable, it's a fairly busy place so it could be a little loud and slightly neglectful service might be the only week points… But I would definitely recommend it.

Good food. The 30 min wait was not bad, they called us when our tables were ready. My burger sliders were amazing. I could taste the Chorizo in it. My wife's Vaca Frita was ok. Not a big fan of Fried steak. The Coconut mojito was too strong. The outdoor seating on a nice sunny day is a plus. Would... More

Let me start by saying that I have been here several times and have had great prior experiences. The food is authentic Cuban and is very good. Our first issue with this visit was our waitress. She was unfriendly and seemed to be aggravated by the fact that we were taking our time to look at the menu, taking our... More
