Das Est Good

The food from the grill, and especially from the regular menu, is Banging! Good beer by the pint, the half liter and the liter! Warning: No Bud, Coors or their light affiliates. If they're what you are after, may I suggest the Pilsner Haus Original. Grab a seat at one of the long tables and... read more

Went today for brunch, if you want to try this place for the first time and don't want to wait on lines, as you will during the summer time, as this place gets so packed and busy. Finally, went here after wanting to go for so long, it's a huge place, plenty of seat, and separate area if you want... More

The Pilsener Haus Biergarten is located in an old factory building that has been wonderfully remodeled. Very nice atmosphere. They call themselves an Austro-Hungarian Biergarten. I haven't been to a biergarten in either Austria or Hungry, but I have in Germany and this place has similar arrangement. Large picnic tables and benches inside and outside. You sit yourself and can... More

For those looking for a genuine German Beer Hall, STOP, this is not the place. For those looking for a bar that is bound to have at least 3 baby showers, 2 kids birthdays and lots of ballons, this is your place! With all the kids running around and crying, this place is simply missing the bouncy castle to achieve... More

Nice place, patient and courteous staff. Limited menu options but good atmosphere to hang out or watch a game. If you have kids check the schedule online for the band; they put a nice simple show for the little ones.

This place opened about 2 years ago in August. They have at least 20 taps of all good or great beer that changes seasonally many craft selections and a full bar. A menu with plenty of good food choices and a grill counter with made to order as you watch burgers and wursts . and don't forget the Pretzels ...real... More

This place needs to be cloned and placed all over. Great atmosphere, great food, great bears! What else can you ask for? We met up with another family and we all (including kids) sat on the wooden bench and were merry. Please try the pretzels. The grill has many kinds of Brats, sandwiches and rotisserie chicken. The menu has a... More

Paid with cash on a Tuesday and the bill was half off! What a plus for a big establishment. The beer selection was great except no appelkorn. The service was ok and the food was good. There was outdoor seating and the inside was very spacious. Would of liked to hear some real German music instead of the rock n... More

I personally love the bier garden. There are a couple pros and cons. Pros are: great beer selection with moderate prices, great week day food specials (Wed. all you can eat mussels for $10, Tues half price off everything when you pay cash), large open space that is family friendly, and great outdoor seating. Cons include, some overpriced and not... More

We came on a Tuesday night with some friends from Jersey City. If you pay with cash the grill and drinks on tap are 1/2 off! Totally worth it!!! My burger was perfect! The soft pretzel with some amazingly unusual sort of horseradishy cheesy dip was crazy good!! (I'd had two street dogs in Manhattan earlier that week so, wasn't... More
