I personally love the bier garden. There are a couple pros and cons. Pros are: great beer selection with moderate prices, great week day food specials (Wed. all you can eat mussels for $10, Tues half price off everything when you pay cash), large open space that is family friendly, and great outdoor seating. Cons include, some overpriced and not... More

We came on a Tuesday night with some friends from Jersey City. If you pay with cash the grill and drinks on tap are 1/2 off! Totally worth it!!! My burger was perfect! The soft pretzel with some amazingly unusual sort of horseradishy cheesy dip was crazy good!! (I'd had two street dogs in Manhattan earlier that week so, wasn't... More

We went to the Biergarten with other couples. We were not the oldest people there. Maybe it was still early? You must try the pretzel, it was a fun appetizer. Plan on sharing it. The food was good and Stacey served us. She was very friendly. Our kids came by to have some beer with us. The place is very... More

Great beer menu and good German food. Watch out for the stroller mommy gangs that hang out in this Hoboken haunt, but they know what they're doing as the beer here is phenomenal. There are a ton of great German, Austrian, and even some Czech varieties here that can of course be imbibed in various glassware including a litter stein... More

We aren't young...went here on Friday night while staying in the area because we were hungry, thirsty and it was after 9pm. Place was very busy, and a little confusing if you've never been there. Followed a group of people who seemed to know what they were doing, and then flagged down a waiter. Community bench seating - found a... More

Wednesday nights are the best - all you can eat mussels for $10! Food is amazing, kielbasa from the grill is great, bavarian pretzel is to die for...everything down to the bread and butter is scrumptious. And the beer ain't bad either :)

I'm so glad Hoboken finally has a real beer garden! I really enjoy going to the Pilsener Haus. The beers are fantastic and the food is great! the hot pretzels are amazing! I've never not had a fun time here. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially for non beer enthusiasts who don't know how or what to order.... More

I was a little disappointed in the Pilsener Haus. I was expecting a German biergarten and found a bar. The service was odd. You seat yourself and eventually one of the waitresses notices someone new and they bring you a menu and take your credit card. I guess to make sure you don't skip out on the tab. The food... More

Sunday afternoon Birthday drinks with our son. Great service, beers, food and ambiance. Worth the trip from Long Island.
