Sunday afternoon Birthday drinks with our son. Great service, beers, food and ambiance. Worth the trip from Long Island.
Been fantastic ever since opening a few years ago. Outdoor picnic style seating. Expansive indoor areas with standard German wursts and compliments. They have an extensive unique beer selection available,.
We went to the Pilsener Haus & Biergarten for New Year's Eve. For a $10 cover we received a table, three pitchers of beer and a plate of sausage. They had a projection screen on the wall, but it had a football game on until about a minute before midnight where they cut to ABC. The atmosphere was pretty much... More
Great place. Love their beer garden. The cocktail bar upstairs is awesome too. Although its too loud downstairs its worth a visit. They have good beer selection. Its definitely better than many beer gardens in Manhattan. This is indeed a hidden gem of Hoboken.
A very nice, very informal spot in Hoboken. If you like German food, I highly recommend this spot. Great wursts, schnitzels, kraut served in traditional beer hall style. Not too expensive and a friendly wait staff.
Miss the lines and get there early by 7 00pm so you miss the ID check. Its ok, some of the bouncers are unruly, mostly the big Black guy, Spotted one guy doing drugs outside with no fear of getting thrown out and 2 fights broke out that night that were pretty bad.
Excellent place for serious beer drinkers and those looking for a european (well somewhat) atmosphere. Bratwurst and hot dogs are huge and to be shared. The guy grilling them may think he is doing open heart surgery but hey he's serious about his grillwork. The management should rope off a romper room for all the trendy parents that bring their... My go to place in hoboken, love taking friends here because what turns into casual drinks turns into party after a liter of beer. I don't how many times ive come with my wife for a drink before a movie and we end up missing our movie because we can get out there. Every time I've gone we've made new... More
If you are looking for a kid friendly bar in Hoboken, look no further. OK, it's North of the scene on the edge of no-man's land, but all that means is ample on-street parking (free on Sundays) for your suburban friend's RAV-4 and X-5s. The open, communal, setting is great for plopping the kids down with their iPad or analog... More
OMG, the beer, the ambience, the giant pretzels, the movies playing on the side of the building, the food...I was so incredibly happy to have the chance to visit this place. Everything was just outstanding. The only downside was waiting for the food at the grill...it took a little longer than expected, but it was worth every minute! It was... More
