Great Atmosphere

From the moment I walked into the Pilsener Haus I was transported back to Oktoberfest in Munich. Everything from the waiters outfits to the long tables felt authentic. Pilsener Haus is a chill alternative to the sloppy, loud clubs and bars on a Friday night in Hoboken. The music was loud enough for... read more

After a day in NYC we took the ferry back to Weehawken and decided to try the Pilsener Haus for some German food. It was probably the first evening of 2015 that was pleasant enough to eat outside and the garden was quite busy with young couples, young families and groups of young singles. We were easily older than everyone... More

I am a hugh fan of the Pilsener Haus......Went for the first time after my son moved into Hoboken. Was not sure about going to a beer place but it turned out to be one of my favorite places in Hoboken. I am a foodie and love it all from Caviar, to a good Burger and am always on the... More

The food from the grill, and especially from the regular menu, is Banging! Good beer by the pint, the half liter and the liter! Warning: No Bud, Coors or their light affiliates. If they're what you are after, may I suggest the Pilsner Haus Original. Grab a seat at one of the long tables and strike up a conversation with... More

Went today for brunch, if you want to try this place for the first time and don't want to wait on lines, as you will during the summer time, as this place gets so packed and busy. Finally, went here after wanting to go for so long, it's a huge place, plenty of seat, and separate area if you want... More

The Pilsener Haus Biergarten is located in an old factory building that has been wonderfully remodeled. Very nice atmosphere. They call themselves an Austro-Hungarian Biergarten. I haven't been to a biergarten in either Austria or Hungry, but I have in Germany and this place has similar arrangement. Large picnic tables and benches inside and outside. You sit yourself and can... More

For those looking for a genuine German Beer Hall, STOP, this is not the place. For those looking for a bar that is bound to have at least 3 baby showers, 2 kids birthdays and lots of ballons, this is your place! With all the kids running around and crying, this place is simply missing the bouncy castle to achieve... More

Nice place, patient and courteous staff. Limited menu options but good atmosphere to hang out or watch a game. If you have kids check the schedule online for the band; they put a nice simple show for the little ones.

This place opened about 2 years ago in August. They have at least 20 taps of all good or great beer that changes seasonally many craft selections and a full bar. A menu with plenty of good food choices and a grill counter with made to order as you watch burgers and wursts . and don't forget the Pretzels ...real... More
