for those ones who enjoy Buddy's shows, it is very importante to visit the "original" carlos baKery. As soon as you get the path it is easy to locate where the bakery is. eat a canoli with chocolate! very good!!

My daughter wanted a little treat one Sunday afternoon and Carlo's was the perfect stop. The last few times I've wanted to stop by the line was out the door and I just wasn't up for the wait. This time we cruised right in. My daughter got an individually sized (but big enough for 2) NY style cheesecake topped with... More

We stayed in Hoboken on a recent trip to see lights in NYC. I don't suggest that. But we did get to visit Carlos Bakery! Much smaller then pictured in TV. So busy we had to wait in line. No one that is on the show was working but we did visit on a Sunday so didn't really expect to... More

So here is a tip-- if you have to visit this place because it is on TV then go off hours. That means no holidays, stay away from summer, weekends, etc and then you will more or less walk right in. Seems like cold Tuesdays are the best. So the food I am a Brooklyn gal and have eaten (unfortunately)... More

The lines aren't as long and there is a great selection. Eight dollars for three cupcakes, is a bit much. They are delicious and worthwhile visiting if you are in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip unless you are a Cake Boss follower.

I have never heard of the TV show, neither the shop, but my boyfriend's mother is in love with it. So we went there, we stayed at NYC, it took us about half an hour to get there. The shop is so tiny, you may have doubt about it. So I went in, and there were 5 to 6 people... More

I am a big fan of the TV show, so our visit to Carlos Bakery was more about visiting the shop than buying cakes. Before travelling I was aware that Buddy and his family were unlikely to be there and that I might have to queue for a while. However I read the reviews on here before going and took... More

On our way out of new York City, we had to stop by to try The Cake Boss's bakery. This little bakery is so quaint and clean. The staff are so friendly. Had to order dozen and half of cannolis, lobster tails, cookies, cupcakes, & got a delicious cake to take back home to Murrells Inlet, SC, for our family... More

I had a great visit, no lines and great service. Was so nice to see the place the show started! I am so happy I made the trip over to the original store!

Years ago Carlos Bake Shop was a delicious local spot. Now, massive lines of tourists wait for hours to pay a lot of money for mass produced goods. The biggest draw here is the TV show not the taste.
