The food is tasty and fills the need when you are in the mood comfort food and the classic cafe experience. Their prices are reasonable and the service is prompt. And for all you movie fans out there, in the back room off the bar area is where a scene from the movie "Sleepers," was filmed starring Kevin Bacon, Brad... More

If you want a little France in Hoboken, Elysian may fit the venue. We would go here after tennis and just relax and watch the passer-by. The sea food dishes like the lobster bisque and escargot are good. The sandwiches are also good. The food is light and no greasy. The waiters/waitresses are dressed in Parisan black and white. Yup,... More

Washington Street in Hoboken is a fantastic place to spend a Saturday strolling around. You cannot beat the Elysian Café for brunch. Excellent food, fairly priced libations and first class service. Things can get very busy but it's worth the wait if there's a big crowd. The only downside is parking ... but that's a problem no matter where you... More

Went for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The food, atmosphere and staff could not have been better. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Stopped by for a late drink and some quick bites that were really good. Nicely done with lots of regulars. Bar was fantastic.

Everything was good. The food, the drinks, and the service was perfect! We had sandwiches, truffle fries, salads and someone had a dinner. So tasty, and prepared well. The wait staff couldn't have been nicer! We will return.

This is a very good restaurant with consistently good food. I'd have given them 5 stars if I had been able to order something other than a donut during brunch - something like, say, a croissant or muffin. That said I highly recommend their sandwiches and salads, especially their frisee and lardons salad.

I rated the restaurant/cage as 4 stars for the absolute amazing service to a family with a 2 yr toddler. It is so difficult to find family friendly restaurants/bars and the Elysian Café staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and to serve us. At a certain point our food and drinks were spread over 3 tables in... More

Came here with 6 people, teens through 90+ years. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. Server was super friendly and helpful. Lovely outside seating area, though we ate inside due to heat. Skirt steak and short ribs both delicious! We'll definitely be back!!
