Great brunch spit

I've been here a few times for brunch. It's consistent and very good. The service is quick and they are very friendly. I would recommend this place for brunch or lunch. I have never been for dinner.

The service was excellent and the food was fast, fresh and great presentation. The chicken sandwich with fries was excellent. The omelet was cheesy and great.

I've only ever eaten outside here. The food is consistent and good. Their drink menu is reasonably priced. This place is great for brunch and has good dinner options. It is not on our regular rotation of Hoboken restaurants (mostly because its not BYOB), but its a good place to go. Great for couples or for groups.

Nice welcome, we ordered hot chocolate which was delicious. Having arrived from the UK the day before this was our first brunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We all had pancakes or french toasts with bacon or ham. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The surrounding is beautiful. We would strongly recommend.

In all fairness, we went here for a late lunch, kind of in between lunch and dinner. The service was a bit confused, limited menu. It was just ok, not anything we'd run back to try.

Really good plates, very delicious and big enough! The atmosphere inside is so beautiful and warm and as you see it from outside you want definitely to visit it for a coffee. Very good service!

We had reservations at Amanda's but found them too "fancy" and pricey for a casual Friday dinner so crossed the street to find something else. I'm glad we found Elysian Cafe. Top notch menu and really great food. They desperately need new tables and chairs and a little spruce up of the place, but I will have hankering for thier... More

We've stopped by for lunch here many times. It's a great place to eat - either outside under the trees in good weather or inside, where the traditional decor (featured in more than one movie) adds to the overall experience. The welcome is always friendly, service is quick and the food is excellent, with a comprehensive menu to suit all... More

The outside eating area is lovely and the inside is even nicer. It is an old building and very charming inside. The parking is always terrible in Hoboken so you do need patience if driving. The food was delicious. We tried the short ribs and the pork chop for dinner. The flavor was perfect on both. You will not be... More

We recently were at the Elysian and thoroughly enjoyed their Monday night dinner special. Our party of five were seated in the large dining room beyond the bar. Most of the group had the fish and chips which were very tasty, hot and crisp. A reservation is advised as the Elysian is very popular.
