Was pleasantly surprised. Traveled from NY. We started with apps we shared including an entree portion of a Rabbit Ragu over pasta, duck liver pate and salads. The burger was topped with some shredded short ribs and caramelized onions on a brioshe bun. Cooked perfectly. One of our party said the pork chop was exceptional. Will definitely return next time... Nice place! Very nice decor & although it was raining, it appeared there was al fresco dining when the sun shines. Good parking. Very polished staff. BYO! Soft shell crab appetizer tempura with accompanying asian cole slaw was excellent, but $22.! A bit steep. My entree of Berkshire pork chop wash nicely grilled. My wife's entree of salmon came too... This is my second review of St. Eve's. We have been back a few times since my first review. In May my family of 11 celebrated a b'day there. Even though it happened to coincide with Mother's Day, the wait staff couldn't have been more attentive. And the food was perfection. Lately they have had a raw oyster appetizer that... More

We went here on a snowy night in March. Maybe the snow was the reason why the service was off. We had the Duck confit appe not that good. The dinning room is beautifu.l

Went here last night for the first time with my husband. I ordered the market salad, Wood-Grilled Zucchini Roulades, Eggplant, Roasted Peppers, Asparagus, Tomato Vinaigrette, Quinoa (Gluten-free), as well as the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. All interestingly unique. A beautiful candlelit environment.

Went here a few weeks ago for a friends anniversary dinner. We were a party of 12 and they were able to fit us comfortably. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu the specials. I had the raw oysters as an appetizer and they were fresh and delicious. My wife had the crispy chicken but she wasn't... More

I still think this is one of the best restaurants not only in Bergen County, but in Northern NJ. The chef-owner is superb and has an incredible track record. The dishes coming out of the kitchen are masterpieces -- a lot of layers, ingredients, etc., but they come together perfectly, and the nuances are all there. This is one of... More

Simply put- there are weeks when I eat more times at St. Eve's than I do at home. From the beets to the bass, the pates to the pastas, the soda bread to the steaks, and the root beer float to the rustic plum galette, Chef Christainson engages and excites. As a BYO, this is a terrific place to bring... More
