This humble little restaurant is family owned and run. The expert preparation of seafood seems to be a specialty and never disappoints. When you have cooked Italian food for fifty years as I have, you can be a little hard to please, but not here! We have tried and enjoyed almost the entire menu during the twenty years we have... My daughter works near the restaurant, so we decided to try it. There was a woman and her daughter before us, so we were told that they had to seat them first. After a few minutes they asked the mother if they were having dinner and she said that they just wanted pizza, so they were told that they couldn't... More

My wife and I have been to this very popular Italian restaurant about 5 times. We've never been disappointed with the food. The staff is very friendly and almost every time we've been there, "mama" strolls through the small dining to see how everybody is doing. The one criticism I do have, that a number of other reviewers have noted,... More

We have always loved this restaurant and go back everytime we visit NJ. The food is always consistantly good. Also a favorite of my parents who lived nearby but are now gone. The last time we were there one of my favorite meals was not on the menu any longer but the waiter said "no problem, we will make it... More

The only thing I don't like about this restaurant is the noise! The dining room must have the wrong type floor or ceiling covering, because EVERY conversation is magnified and it is hard to enjoy your meal. It feels more as if you are eating in a cafeteria. But I find the food is always good. It gets crowded, so... More

It's comfort food all the way. Regularly visit and never disappointed. Can get really crowded especially on the weekends.

Very low key no frills type of place, bring your family for a home style italian meal. Food was very good, and no pretenses. Tables are reminiscent of pizza parlordecor.

This is just another "me too" restaurant that pushes pizza and Americanized Italian food. Nothing special or noteworthy. Save your money and go to Olive Garden.

Although we booked we had to wait for approx 10 minutes for our table but we were a party of 13 and felt that the fact we had to wait, justified our choice of restaurant in that the place is so popular. This family run venue is genuinely Italian which is reflected not only in the menu choice, service and... More

We have seen a number of very positive reviews for this restaurant and were looking forward to a good meal. What a disappointment. The food was bland. The sole I ordered was drowned in a gelatinous sauce that was far too lemony to be enjoyable; my husband's pasta was overdone. The decor, like the food, is unimaginative. The one bright... More
