Went here on a weekend with friends (large group of 14) and had specifically made reservations for this size and specific time. However, when we arrived we had to wait close to 30 minutes to be seated. The food was good. We ordered multiple pizza pies, and entrees which came out of the kitchen fast. However, the server kept trying... More

This restaurant always has excellent food and is popular with locals. We had a mix up with the booking so had to wait about an hour as they were busy and we needed a table for 12. I had a the salmon in dill sauce on the special which was excellent. Bring your own alcohol.

My husband and I went on a Sunday night and the restaurant was hopping! The seafood salad appetizer was wonderful. My husband had the Sole Oreganata which he said was very tasty and I had the Eggplant Rollatine. Portions are large, with enough to bring home for the next days lunch. My only complaint is the restaurant is very noisy... More

The atmosphere is unusual--busy with busboys scurrying around while waitstaff, who don't really know the food, do their best under frantic conditions and may disappear for long periods of time. The owner (I think she's the owner) shows up at the end wearing a sour expression. No one seems to want to welcome the guests. Yet the food was quite... More

Recently went with 6 friends for our monthly boys night dinner (hardly boys, in our fifties and sixties). Arrived about 7:45 and proceeded to our table. It was a cold night and the restaurant was not crowded. We ordered appetizers, a meal, dessert and coffee and were lingering over our wine wanting to finish the bottle when we noticed the... More

Got to chatting with a terrific guy who came to repair our boiler about eats in the Bergen-Rockland Counties. A discussion of bad pizza joints morphed to how even in Manhattan, so many "Italian" resturants are owned by Croatians, Greeks, etc. where the food is a poor imitation of the kind of Italian meals we've known from families (including his)... We have been here several time and always find the food very good. The service is friendly and accommodating. The only negative is that on weekends it is very noisy.

This humble little restaurant is family owned and run. The expert preparation of seafood seems to be a specialty and never disappoints. When you have cooked Italian food for fifty years as I have, you can be a little hard to please, but not here! We have tried and enjoyed almost the entire menu during the twenty years we have... My daughter works near the restaurant, so we decided to try it. There was a woman and her daughter before us, so we were told that they had to seat them first. After a few minutes they asked the mother if they were having dinner and she said that they just wanted pizza, so they were told that they couldn't... More
