If you decide to go don't eat the "steamers"

Ate at Bahrs since we were up in the Highlands hiking and figured being by the ocean it should have great seafood. Well, it is by the ocean but not too sure about the whole great seafood thing. Being a life long resident of Wildwood NJ I know a thing or two about good seafood and this place... read more

My friend and I went here for a late lunch/eay dinner one day.. .. When you walk in, you instantly feel claustrophobic.. Dark, heavy.. and the smell? Ugh.. Smells like when you accidentally leave your clothes in the washer...for a week. That, and bathroom ( not clean ) smell... However, we were already there, and decided to suck it up.... More

Had lunch here sitting outside in the early season sun admiring the view to the sound of splashing waves. The food wasn't as good but we had reasonable crab cakes and some very fresh simple oysters.

2nd year in a row that we have visited Bahrs. There food is delicious and served in very large portions. I love to sit outside along the water and watch the boats while eating and enjoying a cold beer.

My mother and I ate at this restaurant on a Friday afternoon. The weather was nice enough that we could dine outside and we had a nice view of the marina. Our waitress was good and checked on us often. The restaurant itself is quite large. It looks like they even have space to host private parties. Also, there was... More

Bahr's is one of the best on the Jersey Shore and is open year round. A large variety of fresh seafood and specials. Great time to go is during the warmer weather when you can sit outside and watch the boats come and go.

Fresh Maine lobster is available in many dishes.I had the roll on the brioche bun toasted. Yummy, it came with slaw and homemade potato chips. A perfect lunch

Frequented Bahrs since I was a child, but haven't been there in a few years. Experience at this restaurant was how I remembered it.... Superb from the hostess greeting to the departure. Seafood was the freshest I've enjoyed in quite sometime. Seasoned perfectly, vegetable side not soggy with nice blended variety. Finicky daughter in attendance who is allergic to seafood... More

This used to be our go-to place for dinner after a day at the beach. I'd never been disappointed; it was friendly and offered good views and good food. However, my last visit in mid-April was a let-down. First the facts: 1) it wasn't beach weather but we'd spent the day walking there anyway, bundled up and fighting the wind... More
