I am sure once the season hits the window seat would be a premium. But would visit just to sit by the window in a busy season. I would wonder... read more

My day trip to The Jersey Shore area rounded off nicely with a meal at Bahrs in Highlands. Loved the nautical decor and got an excellent table overlooking the sea. The food was excellent and I had a particularly excellent hot caramel cider drink. It was like liquid apple pie! Clams very tasty and crab stuffed shrimp for main course... More

Grew up by the Jersey shore, retired in Delaware. While visiting NJ last week my husband and I ate at Bahr's. We haven't had lobster in 3 years. Can't find lobster in Delaware as good as here. We went on Wed. the 25th of March for dinner. Had a nice table facing the water. Our waiter was Kostas and he... More

While I was driving to the Jersey Shore to see Sandy Hook, I took a chance and drove by Bahr's. It was 2 pm lo and behold, they were open. My wife and I walked in and I was transported back to my youth. When I was a kid, my Mom and Dad would take the family here for special... More

When it comes down to restaurants on the New Jersey shore, Bahr's Landing has to be one of my absolute favorites. While heading down the shore to The Clam Bar Restaurant, we learned that The Clam Bar had been lost during Hurricane Sandy. A local directed us to Bahr's Landing, which had received damage to their downstairs area but still... More

I really enjoyed this restaurant, best seafood bisque and homemade biscuits. Each guest gets a small bowl of coleslaw and oyster crackers before your meal. Seafood was fresh and very well seasoned, not overbearing just enough to bring out the freshness of the seafood. The view is overlooking the Sandy Hook bay. Theres an outdoor deck dining area for boats that... More
