Nice place with well above average food, lovely if simple decor and a solid wine list. The hostess is a statuesque blond woman who knows her stuff. Nice, comfortable bar where we waited for a late table, and we were seated a few minutes before our reservation, a welcome change to restaurant service these days. Uber expensive, but well worth it. The seafood is amazing, the staff is top-notch, the view is typical jersey shore, and the wine list is pretty impressive. This is a great place to go if you are celebrating big time, expect to pay $150-$200 per person if you do 3 courses and wine. more

Our recent dinner at Doris and Ed's was by far the best seafood dinner we have ever had! We started off with the lobster bisque...A thick, rich soup packed with fresh lobster and the Sashimi of Tuna with Wasabi. Served with Chilled Hakutsuru Junmai Dai Ginjo Sake.
