Just got back from a Valentine's Day dinner. Since moving to the island, this place has been recommended again and again, yet our experience tonight was disappointing overall. If you’re thinking that the Plantation is an upscale restaurant, guess again. It reminded me of a casual dining chain restaurant. Just returned from LBI and was greatly anticipating a fine meal at Plantation. Myself and three guest were sorely disappointed overall with the entrees. Baked crab and artichoice gratin appetizer was notable and delicious.
