The Spanish Pavillion has had its ups and downs in the almost 50 years of serving Iberian style steak and seafood. At the moment it is very up, in part from the menu and decor tweaking prompted by a makeover reality show. Our group started a recent Friday evening sharing sangria and chatting with the regulars during the 4-7 "happy...

We loved the friendly service, 3 course meal, and had enough for another meal. A great value.
Stayed at the Hampton Inn on Passaic so this restaurant is about 100 yards from the hotel. Had great reviews on line so I decided to try out authentic spanish food. It's been around since 1976 so don't expect some modern decor. Has the feel of an old style eastern steakhouse...low lights and no music...they do speak spanish often so...

I had the N.Y. sirloin as an entree, and it steakhouse quality. For dessert...

We split an appetizer of large mussels in a cream...

I couldn't face the typical hot dog and fries outside the stadium - so on the way I checked Trip Advisor and found the 'only' listed restaurant in Harrison. Well, given the lack...

Spanish Pavillion was recommended by the staff at the nearby Hampton Inn where we stayed during vacation.
The salmon was the best I've ever had, very moist and so light it seems almost plumped up. One serving of arroz con pollo (chicken and rice) could easily serve a family of four. The shrimp were enormous. Don't miss the banana chocolate...
