Very Nice lunch menu

My daughter and I decided to try something different for a Hammonton lunch...as we drove along Bellevue Ave. a few of our favorites tried to take us but we stayed with Annata, it was the first time for both of us for lunch. Although the wine selection is impressive, and the food is eclectic, the portions were small, and it was rather expensive. The seating is also not very comfortable to sit and converse -- the place was quite noisy when we were there on a week-end night, so it's hard to hear your dining companions, and the chairs are really meant to... We thought it was expensive for the small "tapas" dining. Food was tasty, prepared well and served nicely. The ambiance is done well. The wines are wide and varied but also expensive. They have music on the weekends. Rather upscale.

This was our first visit. Great ambiance and wonderful service. Our waitress, Katie, was very knowledgeable about the wine selections, and recommended a wonderful Italian meritage. The cheese plate was delicious. The calamari was a little over cooked and under seasoned, but the marinara dipping sauce was great. The veal was also under seasoned, but the colossal crab was a... Pros: 1. Hostess didn't have main dining tables available but offered a wonderful high table in a nook area that provided a sense of privacy. For a last minute reservation we were happy with our table. 2. Wine selections were wonderful. 3. Bread/olive oil and Annata Vineyard Salad were delicious! Cons: 1. It’s an open dining area and the televisions... More

After hearing people rant and rave about this place some friends, my wife and I decided to try it out. The first time we tried we could not get a reservation. You need to make reservations at least a day in advance it seems. Knowing this we made reservations at a later date and we got a table. Being huge... More

Looks very nice but some food was rare and some was very good. The Staff was very pleasant. They serve a nice variety of food.

We recently went on the recommendation of friends. It was average. Nothing more, nothing less. The place has a nice atmosphere, with comfortable chairs and nice wait staff. The food, however, is what drags it down. The seafood was undercooked, while the eggplant was extremely average. Pasta was a little undercooked as well. Gilato, I suspect, was purchased somewhere and... More

The atmosphere was excellent but the service from the bar to our table was exceptionally poor. We were a party of seven who were experiencing this restaurant for the first time. The menu was extensive and for the most part the food that we ordered was what one would expect in a "Wine Bar". (Average Quality) One of our selections... More

I actually hesitate to write this review because I don't want to make it harder to get a table when I go. Everything I have ever had on this menu was wonderful. The wine list is creative and reasonable. The service, as always, is attentive. It is simply one of the best restaurants in the area and is worth the... More
