We live in Hamilton and have tried Bill's Olde Tavern a few times. I SO want to love this place! But I just can't. The inside of the building has such charm, and the menu looks good, too! But the food is just mediocre at best. We've gone three times over the past 18 months, really trying to make it... More

Friendly service. Consistently good food. Broad menu. Neighborhood vibe. And reasonable prices. We visit as often as possible!

The food did not stand up to the surroundings here. I've been here many times over the years and it seems like there is a different chef each time. My recent visit for lunch was disappointing. Service was good and the ambiance of the old tavern remains, but the food was not worth the prices. The fish from fish and... More

It's difficult to write this review, as Bill's has been a staple for us for years. We used to enjoy the variety of meals offered in this historic location. However, Bill's food for the past few visits seems to be slipping. The menu does rotate from time to time, which seems to offer a good variety depending on the time... More

The food is good, service is excellent and prices are cheap! It's part "old cozy house with a fireplace and probably a ghost or two" and part "nightclub/bar with fabulously cheap happy hours!" We love coming here...it's big enough to hold an after-show cast party (the Kelsey Theatre is just down the road) but can be intimate enough for a... More

After Christmas shopping in the snow this weekend we met up at Bill's for din-din. My daughter and I arrived first and were greeted by very pleasant girls at the front. We were about to be taken to our table when we were startled by the owner/manager yelling at the staff to "keep the other door closed at all times"... More

Great to try their special or seasonal dishes such as the recent Octoberfest menu. No bread with dinner, just a couple small soft pretzel pieces, but the food was good enough anyway.

First time since it was the original Bills. The burger for lunch was not cooked well as it was burnt as were the fries. They were burnt yet soggy so this was the first and last lunch at the new bills.

My husband and I have eaten there numerous times and have on several occasions ordered the 2 for 22 featured on their menu. It allows for one appetizer or dessert, 2 entrées and 2 drinks ( from a selected menu) for $22. My husband always orders his drinks off the menu at full price since he prefers martinis to the...
