Food VG But poor value for $$$$

First time visit, VG food & appetizers, nice modern decor, VG service.. so What's Not to Like ? VERY overpriced. Bottle of Prosecco wine, 2 apps, Spark water, 2 X $28 entree, 2 expresso, one dessert to share 20% tip.. bill was $200. Yipes. Better choices in nearby Bordentown, Marcello or Under The... read more

I have been to this restaurant many times, but have failed to review. Just went there recently with my mom (she had never been there). The food was amazing as always- the service - these are "professional servers" - absolutely wonderful..the wine list is great and the atmosphere and cleanliness are consistent - JUST LOVE IT!!!

This is a classy place. High ceilings, tables that have an intimate feeling without being closed in, waiters that actually know what they're doing and truly great food. The kitchen is open to the center part of the dining area and you can watch dishes being prepared. A very good bar and a little music and dancing on Friday nights.

Went here with 2 friends, first we sat at the bar and had a cocktail then moved to our table. The food is good but on the expensive side. The waitstaff work hard and are very accommodating.

We've been here 2-3 times over the last year or so. The only reason we starting visiting was because chef Dominic came over from coltellos and revamped their menu. The food is very good, but the ambiance, service, expense, and apathy from ownership means I will not return to this restaurant. First it is extremely loud in the restaurant and... More

Don't be put off my the strip mall location! We had an amazing meal with great wines. One member of our group is Italian so is very fussy about his food. He loved it. Many selections including fish entrees. There is a nice ambiance and great service. If you are staying in Hamilton, it's a great stop.

What can I say just run the other way. The absolutely worst restaruant around! The front desk, bartenders and staff are some of the rudest people around. If they don't like what you tip they add onto your credit card to suit them! Really,! Why pay to get treated so poorly and then have to tip additional funds to suit... More

Chambersburg (aka the Burg) was a Italian neighborhood in Trenton that at one time was the 3rd largest "Little Italy" in the USA after NYC & Chicago. Much has changed since the '50's but Spigola recaptures the ambiance, home made pastas & sauces (some people call it gravy...really??) and excellent customer service. The owner - Nat, has recently hired a... More

Very enjoyable Italian restaurant not too far off I95. Good cocktails and some very tasty appetizers (octopus was delicious). Fresh pasta, duck and deserts made a very nice evening.

We had heard that the old chef from Coltello in Crosswicks had been hired to run Spigola's kitchen and we very quickly booked a table for 3 couples for a Friday night. The menu is definitely reminiscent of the classic Coltello. Charcuterie, off the bitten path appetizers, salads, pastas and main courses. After sitting down and putting our orders in,... More
