Authentic Brit Pub Fare in Haddonfield NJ

Went to Chip Shop on New Years eve as a walk in with my family. They were accommodating and found us a table in pretty short order. The food was very good, having been to the UK many times for business I can say the menu and the actual food were pretty darn good. We each got an entree and... read more

I work in Haddonfield and have been here several times, always receiving excellent service. The food is well-prepared and seems authentic. The dimly-lit atmosphere is perfect. The faux brick walls seem like a bit if a short cut, but that's being very nit-picky. I recommend this place.

I love the foid here, the bangers and mash are perfect. The fish and chips are delightful and the desserts are luscious. Don't miss this spot if you like authentic British food.

Great neighbor hood nice atmosphere very casual setting. Many TV for sport fans. Variety menu choices. Nice bar large selection of beer. Great wings. My favorite is The Fish and chips platter. Give it a try. It's worth it.

I am in love with this place!!! The fish is so fresh, it is the closest thing to real fish n chips in England! The place is adorable, so relaxing !!! The olive app is great and the desserts are to die for! The store across the way the British garden is the same owner and he is so nice!!!... More

Visited this restaurant today for lunch to experience British food in advance of a trip to London. We had fish and chips and beet salad. Both were absolutely fresh and delicious. Plenty of menu choices and a wonderful selection of desserts. Service was great. We are looking forward to going back.

We have been here for dinner a few times and decided to give their "Best Brunch on this side of the Pond" a try and it is definitely false advertising. It started off good, we ordered a scone with clotted cream and jam while waiting for our breakfast (which we enjoyed). I ordered the Bubble and Squeak with my eggs... More

Urgh, Being English I was looking forward to good fish and chips. The place is a nice looking restaurant but I should have been forewarned of what to expect when I sat at my table and my arm stuck to the table. It was sticky and clearly needed a good wipe down. I ordered the fish chips and mushy peas.... More

Our first time at this restaurant we had the most incredible waiter and our dinner was wonderful! That time we had the bean dip appetizer, fish and chips, and a half portion of the beef stew. All in all it was a lovely meal. THEN we went back today. The service was slow and no one came to our table... More

An annual stopping point for our group. Service is inconsistent, sometimes right on and sometimes slow. Food is good and plentiful. BYOB in this dry town.
