It has been a while since we went to the Pump House and now. I took the time to make sure that my review is done analytically, rather than emotionally. We went on December 4. It was a Thursday evening and we arrived at the restaurant at 5:45. We were promptly seated. There were three other tables occupied with a... More

Reluctant to go my girlfriend told me me it's good. I gave this place a try and I was right not very good. Food was dry and not very tasty. Deserts are horrible. Save your money

From the time we walked in until we left illean our waitress was unbelievably rude, we drive 2 hrs for a Christmas dinner with family and was told how she is having a bad day, rushed service and unacceptable comments we asked her if they could plug the Christmas tree lights on and answer - ok bit your pushing it... It was a Monday evening, when I went with my parents. The place is easy to find; beautiful landscaping outside, comfortable interior. Drinks came quickly, with fun teasing with the server. Rolls were oven warm with plenty of butter. Salad was fresh, and just the right size; not too big, not too small, with a nice variety of this and... More

Amazing food and service. Food is beyond delicious- salads, sandwiches, wraps, soups, steaks, seafood, appetizers... Outstanding lunch and dinner prices are great. Newly updated inside worth going to see!! Check them out one of my favorite restaurants.

We had our daughter's rehearsal dinner and my husband's 70th birthday party at the Pump House. Even though there were years between the two events, the service and food were still wonderful. Eileen provided quite a selection of foods for the birthday party's buffet. She was so helpful and assisted in making the party a real surprise. Everyone raved about... More

I went for a family dinner to the Pump House with my wife and my son and his family. My 1 year old grand daughter did love the fried shrimp. I thought the quality of the food was very average and the cost was above average. The interior was very dark. And what is with the Christmas tree still up... More

With a stupendous view overlooking the Muscanetcong river, a shrimp scampi to die for, gracious hosts, outstanding servers and patio dining, what are you waiting for? I have been eating her for over 12 years and never get tired as the food never disappoints, especially the sizzling scampi and a melt-in-your-mouth osso bucco, two of my favorites! I meet once... We enjoy the food and value here at the Pump House. It's traditional comfort food. The salmon/mandarin orange salad is my FAVORITE from any restaurant! DELICIOUS!

Staff was very good. Food was excellent. Husband had a new york strip and it was cooked to perfection. I had salmon and it was tasty. That had a soup tasting bar and out was delicious. Home made tools melted in our mouths. Decor was nice and the view of the babbling river was nice. Would definitely eat her again.
