After having a wonderful dining experience at the Maggiano's in Orlando, Florida, we decided to try one of their locations in our home state of New Jersey. The food and service were just as good at this Hackensack location. The bread, the appetizers, the entrees, and the desserts were all terrific. The only thing that spoiled this evening a bit... Maggiano's recommends party of 8 or more dine family style. This is a good idea for your wallet. It also gives you salad, appetizer, pastas, entrées & desserts... nice menu. This is not a good idea if people in your party have different preferences. Disappointment #1... at Maggiano's for a 2 o'clock lunch. They were already out of veal. Disappointment... More

We decided to have dinner at Maggianos at the end of October on a Thursday night. We’ve had dinner there a couple of times and enjoy the restaurant. There’s ample parking virtually in front of the entrance and the service, food and general ambience are very good. For an appetizer we split some Mussels, for the Entrée we ordered a... More

We were here at a church event. The Pastor and his wife took us to Maggiano's after church. We ate from the family style dining. The fried zucchini was so good that we had 3 refills. The lasagna was great. The pound cake and chocolate zucotta cake was so rich we could not eat much. We had so much to... More

The restaurant has a very traditional setting that is inviting. Lots of food is served in a timely manner which often requires the need for doggie bags. The chicken parm and shrimp scampi are my favorites.

Family style dining for parties over 3. $30.00 per person. I found for that price the menu very limited. If you wanted veal or beef and most fish there was an extra fee tacked on. The service was fair. The restaurant was not overly busy. The waiter had to be reminded about silverware, plates and drinks. The food was cooked... More

We were 9 and opted to dine Family style. The selection is really good. For appetizers we picked the calamari, stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta. The calamari were our least favorite, the other two dishes were quite good. As main dish we choose the cheese ravioli, which I thought were overcooked and tasteless. The peppercorn steak was dry and overdone, although... More
