GOOD FOOD-GREAT ATMOSPHERE

They have great pizza & garlic knots. Place is decorated Italian style with the checkered tablecloths etc. Staff is extremely nice & helpful. They have a small bar in the corner but it's just for the staff to get your beer etc. Place does get crowded & it's not a very big place.

We've been here a few times now. It's a local place with a good reputation - which is justifiable. The Pizza is spectacular. Seriously - even as leftovers. Order a large and take the rest home. Just keep an eye on where they seat you. The little added section with the lower ceiling separated from the main dining room is... More

I rarely invite friends out for pizza, as pizza is a personal preference but after reading the previous reviews I gave this place a try. The 7 of us showed up last Saturday afternoon, were nicely greeted and attended to. The atmosphere was warm and had an Italian restaurant feel as opposed to a swift, modern fast in and out.... More

Brooklyn Pizza in Hackensack used to be our favorite pizza. But one too many burned pizzas and not-up-to-par fried mozzarella, and we're pretty much done. This pizza place isn't around the corner for us, but we've traveled pretty far to enjoy their formerly great pizza. It's really annoying to get home to find the bottom of the pizza seriously burned.... More

Hands down the BEST pizza place ever! The pie (margarita, but called cheese & tomato) makes my mouth water just thinking of it. Seating is fairly quick if you have less than 4 people (we recently came with 6 & had to wait outside for 2 tables to open). We ordered fast as we knew what we wanted - the... More

Had a couple pizzas and stromboli and garden salad. All were well prepared and delivered quickly. Service was good and the prices were quite reasonable. Would recommend.

We happened upon this spot on the way to see friends and am I glad we stopped. EXCELLENT pizza. Light crust cooked to perfection. Salads were great portions and service was very good. A welcome surprise in Hackensack, NJ. If you're in the area, and you like pizza, it's not to be missed!

Excellent brick oven pizza served in a casual environment. The salads and appetizers are just ok -- this place is all about the pizza. They only take cash which is a bit annoying.
