It is a culinary truism that restaurant quality depends on local taste buds.Whilst this may explain the ocean of mediocrity in the area,it does not do justice to Galasso's.Simple but delicious pizzas, pastas and other trattoria favorites at ridiculously low prices in a cheap and cheerful setting with good service.what's not to like??

We eat out a lot around our home area New Hope Lambertville Doylestown, and we've been there before, but it's been a while (like a year maybe) and just for something different we went last Wednesday... basically, it's a OK pizza place that has tables and waitress service for various "Italian" dishes.. veal this and chicken that. lots of garlic... We have frequented Galasso's for years, and it remains our go-to restaurant when we just want good food at a great price. Guido and Joe work tirelessly, seven days a week, to produce the most consistently good seafood, pizza, and Italian dishes. Their Sicilian salad is topped with grilled shrimp, portabellas, and two cheeses - Gorgonzola and mozzarella. Fresh fish... More

BYOB in Frenchtown. Typical looking Pizzaria. Had the Fettucine with Bolognese sauce and the baked ziti with eggplant. Both better than average with large portions. Reasonably priced. I will return again.

Was in PA for a wine tasting at the Sandcastle Winery. Before we took the tour we decided it would be smart to have a bit of food first. We located Galasso's on the GPS in Frenchtown and zoomed there. First of all Frenchtown is such a sweet old city town with the usual mainstreet flair. We loved the fact... More

The first time we came here they were closing up and were nice enough to sell us a couple slices after 9:30 when we were starving. The pizza choices by the slice are creative and tasty. Nice rich, crispy crust. Will go back again.

We have been going to Galasso's for over 5 years and are weekend regular's. The food here is simply wonderful. Fresh ingredients, specials are excellent and overall quality is excellent. We have friends from NYC that come out here to dine here because it is so good...Highly recommended.

Very good Brooklyn style square pizza. And the regular pizza is good, too. We order it all the time. This is the type of place anyone who likes great local food is happy to find. Never mind the decor and that the place is small. It's a BYOB and the food is very good and freshly made. No outdoor seating;... More

This BYOB in Frenchtown prepares superb pasta, fish, chicken and pizza dishes. Fresh ingredients, well-prepared and very reasonable, you won't be sorry. We enjoy it every time!
