First off Mexican needs beer! Luckily there is a little place to buy around the corner (Wine Italiano-across from post office) that sells singles and a great variety! Grabbed a Victoria, Mexican beer;o), really hit the spot with their chicken burrito with salsa verde. Mmmm! Also their chips and salsa are the real thing, you can tell they are homemade,... More

Ate at Cocina del Sol Saturday night, it has outdoor dining (only 3 or 4 tables, but we ate inside. The food was great, my husband and I love Mexican food. The service was really good. The owner came to our table and said hello, and to others too. Just making sure his customers were being taken care of. Will... More

There are too many good restaurant options In Hunterdon County, and being that we live in Milford, Frenchtown is the closest and most convenient place to eat. We end up eating here often for lack of anything better. It isn't the most excellent food, but it's typically good 4 out of 5 times. They have good guacamole and spicy salsa.... More

Authentic mexican food at a very reasonable price. Homemade chips and salsa for starters. Locals love it so it has to be good.

A nice surprise in Frenchtown. My wife and I decided to dine here on a Saturday night because they were open much later than the other restaurant’s in Frenchtown. We are glad we did as the food was plentiful, tasty and fresh. We will definitely be going back!

Not being experienced with what authentic Mexican food is, I can say this is much better than the typical chain experience. The four of us ordered the Steak fajitas, chicken fajitas, burritos with mole, and a chimichanga. The steak fajita was very tender with a very good portion and we felt the same about the chicken fajita. The burritos came... More

We ordered a TON of food, combinations, appetizers, and dessert. It was all amazing! The service is outstanding and the seating is great. Kinda small, but it's great for any occasion!! CHECK IT OUT FOR SURE!

The chips and salsa were a nice beginning to our meal. My sister had the shrimp fajitas, and they were delicious. I had the enchilada Acapulco and it was very nice. We finished with helado frito, and it tasted authentic. Our server was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We came here after my sister had an enjoyable meal here with my... More

Ate here twice this year and have plans for lunch next week. Delicious mexican - the rice and beans, which in some restaurants feel like a throw away - are so flavorful. Chips and salsa very fresh and good. Frenchtown is such a quaint town, be sure to walk around the other shops after eating here.

I was torn between average or very good for this place, but after numerous visits, I chose average only b/c of the service. The food is amazing! My favorite is Mexican food and this place got it right! The restaurant is located in a basements with cool river rocks exposed, but very dark. Kind of cool, kind of not. From... More
