it was worth it.

I really enjoyed the ambiance and the quality of this restaurant. Frenchtown is a nice town and this restaurant is a good addition. This B & B/ restaurant is in an old building but I like that. They do a good job of making the building or restaurant part cozy.

My husband and I wanted to go away someplace quiet for NYE. We stayed in a standard room. The location is great. There is nothing to do in this town. Quiet is an understatement. This town is dead. The room was OK. There was no closet and we put our clothes on the second bed in the room. The room... More

We stopped in for lunch the other day and ate on the pub side. Although the food was delicious, with very generous portions, Mike the bartender/server made the experience that much more memorable. Great personality, great knowledge, and the self-proclaimed "condiment King" he made us laugh, feel at home and delivered everything and more. I hope he is appreciated, because... More

Frenchtown is very small but has ample dining opportunities. This old mansion with grand columns in the front just around the corner from the center of town and offers very nicely decorated and clean dining areas along with a basement Ratskeller which reportedly gets crowded later in the evening and has live music on weekends. We sat at the bar... More

We went to the National Hotel in Frenchtown for the first time this Sunday afternoon. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple of beers. The interior of this place is awesome. There were 2 other people there when we arrived around 4:30. Before we left, 2 other people had arrived and sat at the bar also. We ordered... More

Thank you for your feedback. In fact, that was that particular bartender's last day at The National Hotel. Clearly, as much as we pride ourselves on the level of excellence of our food and drinks, service is at the core of a customer's experience, and unfortunately, this individual simply wasn't focused on our patrons. We hope that you will return,... More

Another nice and cozy restaurant and bar with in a very old building with very much charm. It is also in a very nice small town and very close to the Delaware River.

We recently visited Frenchtown National Hotel & were pleasantly surprised. Last time we were there we did not have a good experience. But the manager tried to make up for it this time. Also, we had a different server who was very helpful & charming. We always order the fish & chips which I liken to Nancy's in Oak BUff,... More

My wife and I love this restaurant. There are so many unique and delicious food combinations and a seasonal Drink menu that is just as unique as the food. The service in the restaurant and at the bar is always prompt and very friendly, more than can be said about some other Inns in Frenchtown. The atmosphere feels comfortable and... More
