This was our first time visiting and we were very pleased. we are in the dinning room that was very quaint and quiet. The meals were fresh and delicious. The staff very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Great dinner at the Frenchtown Inn to celebrate our anniversary, Food was very good, albeit traditional. Only drawback was our table was very close to another table of 2 couples who were arguing (which I realize that the management had no control over). Unfortunately we heard every word.

The great thing about this place was that we were able to dine in their tavern area in our bike shorts, Another is that they make a really good cocktail. However, my appetizer, lobster eggroll was devoid of any discernable lobster and tiny. For $14 this was a rip. The yellowtail snapper was bland, just OK. My wife's venison was... More

We dine at The Frenchtown Inn frequently, generally sitting on the pub side, always enjoying great meals. Mr Tomko is an excellent chef and his wife, a gracious hostess. The building is charmingly old, and impeccably well maintained. The flower boxes along the welcoming front porch are filled with herbs and flowers, and now in the Autumn; with gourds, pumpkins... The food here was phenomenal & the decor made you feel like you were somewhere very far from the rush & hum of our busy world. Wine selections were wonderful -- a good variety & at very fair prices! My husband had the duck & I had the lamb which was cooked perfectly! We look forward to coming here again!

My husband and I have eaten here many times and we have never had a bad meal. The menu does change slightly but the chef is very accommodating. The seafood is wonderful, succulent and seasoned to bring out the delicate flavors. The service is also very attentive though slightly slow with drinks from the bar; however we were in no... More

We ate here recently to celebrate my birthday, and it made the evening perfect! First, it's refreshing to eat in a dining room where people still dress for dinner. Second, the service was attentive without being smothering. Third, there was a selection of bottles of wine which were being offered at half price - what a deal! I've never purchased... More

The lunches on the porch are excellent - good food, great service, and some good wines by the glass. We like the atmosphere sitting on the porch in summer watching all of the bridge activity. Have been coming here for years and this is a reliable lunch venue.

The food at the Frenchtown Inn was great. We made reservations, but didn't really need them. It was walking distance from our B&B (Widow McCrea's) and it is right on the main road (Bridge street). Totally a perfect place to eat. reasonably to high prices, depending which menu you choose from. Had a great meal and nice atmosphere.
