This is only my second experience eating Korean food and I was not disappointed. The service was superb. Dishes kept appearing and everything was very good. The little dumplings covered with chili sauce were the best of all. I had the BBQ marinated beef and it was delicious. The cold noodle soup had a nice subtle flavor. My companion had... More

I was visiting my cousin in NJ and she suggested we dine here. I was apprehensive due to my 3 crazy young kids but was dying to eat Korean. There was a wedding reception going on at the same time as we were there but the service was still excellent. We had the sushi/sashimi, kalbi (Korean BBQ marinated beef) and... More

Wow, quite an experience. The food was delicious! I had the pleasure of dining at Poonglim in early July while in the area for business. My host, who is Korean, chose Poong lim because he knew of my fondness for Korean bar-b-que and I was not disappointed. The banchan was delicious (especially enjoyed Poong lim’s kimchee) and the bar-b-que was... More

Ive been coming here for years as my parents live nearby. The food is the freshest around and plentiful. Its priced a little high but the quality is worth it.

We have been there twice in the last 2 months - have only been to their Sunday Brunch. We found coupons on Korean/Chinese newspaper so instead of paying $27.95/person, we pay $17.95 - price is definitely reasonable for the amount of food - sushi (all kinds), unlimited kalbi's, noodle, appetizers (ban-chans), kimchi noodles, pasta, western/italian typical Brunch items, escargot, blue... We really enjoy Korean BBQ and have been to several Korean restaurants in NY and NJ. We stopped here for dinner on our way to a concert at Yankee Stadium. It was very convenient. The valet parking did not bother us at all. Gave the guy a decent tip and our car was easily accessible ;) Anyway, we had BBQ... More

Even if you are not familiar with Korean food, try this because this is very good. It is not cheap but for the quality and quantity it is a deal. The waitress was friendly, the service fast. Try the barbecue!! So good!! Even if you are a picky eater this is it! The best Korean ever!!

We went for buffet brunch on a Sunday. I forget the exact cost but it was around $27-30 per person. The wait wasn't too long and we were seated fairly promptly. They remodeled the interior and it seems they are focusing now on being more of a banquet hall than a restaurant (previously called Dae Ga). They offer salads, oysters,... More
